Anyone know who this is? They don't leave any messages so I'm curious.

They say they are from the National Debt reduction Co. I have asked them twice to remove me from their calling list and they (he) was quite rude.

called me 4 times today and does not leave message. . . i wonder if we could call them all day.  If you call it back you can remove your phone number from their list

If you have Verizon phone go to "call Forwarding"

forward calls to number the keep harassing you like 408-418-5531

choose option "Forward calls only from certain numbers"

then put in up to ten of the numbers that keep harrassing you.

That was you can change the Forward number each day and let them leave there unwanted Phone calls to each other. If everyone did this they wouldn't be able to call any of us. Keep them tied up with each other.

I've been receiving calls from this number 408 418 5531 for the past two months..  I have endlessly pushed "1" to have my name taken off the list ... they do not comply ... when I speak with a "live" person and ask to have my name taken off the list - they hang up on me ...

Calls from this number appear to go through a central call distribution system.  Unethical companies route their calls through these systems to avoid identification.  So, you will see the same number on your caller ID for a debt collector, mortgage company, etc.  The calls I got offered lower mortgage rates, unlike the debt collectors that some of you experienced.  How do you solve it?  Report the number to the local phone company from where the calls originate.  Someone is paying the bill for that number, right?

Call all the time, leaving no number.  We are on the Do Not Call list, have excellent credit and no overdue bills.  We did have an employee once who owed creditors but haven't heard anything from those people in two or three years.

My call was about reducing my mortgage payments.  I live in an apartment and have been on the do not call list for years.  Just checked because of so man junk calls lately and am still on the no call list.  Are you people capable of doing something about them?  I have received a similar call lately through this same number.  The government no call list appears to be useless.

They call my business at least 3-4 times a week...at this point I just hit answer and hang up because it is pointless to engage these people to request removal. Most telemarketers are rude and ulitimately trying to scam you, so the avoid game is the best way to react. I have been "slammed" and "crammed" by even answering yes or no to questions and have had charges appear on my phone bill. Just hang up! :)

They never give up.  Debt Removal, blah, blah.  Auto-dialers.

This # is calling repeatedly and no one is ever on the line.

Robo call about health plans.

Yes, my call was about HUGE savings for health plans too.  I stayed on to at least get a quote since my company insurance is going up, I figured why not check out my options.  She asked my name how many people were covered.  Then she asked how much was my current monthly premium.  When I told her, she hung up on me!  I'm enraged!  I give them time that most people (understandably) don't and the twit hangs up on me?  Some nerve.  Then as stated by the others, when I tried to call back it went to an automated message.  Wish I would have had time to look them up before I received the call!
