- Bob in LACaller ID said "Incoming Call". Didn't answer, they left no message. Another website shows this number belongs to something called Snjs West, California in Morgan Hill (SF Bay Area). I'm on DNC list and have had no prior business with any such company. Based on the spoofed caller ID, I'd say this is SPAM.
- Caller: Snjs West, California
- Call type: Telemarketer
- philippeYep, same calls with no msg's here too! also on DNC list and same caller also reported at whycall.me/408-550-1647.html . Sure the FBI is busy with way heavier matters this Holiday season, but if this INCOMING CALL'er from around San Jose,CA goes overboard and gets malicious, then victims better contact the nearest office ASAP; fbi.gov/sanfrancisco/
- Caller: INCOMING CALL
- Call type: Telemarketer
- imfrmars408-550-1647 sane thing as above I answered no reply I am also on the DNC list which truthfully doens't seem to work lately. Tried to call back got a recording think I was on hold so I hung up.

- Caller: CID..Incoming call
- Moira| 1 replyI answered as I do know people with this area code. Said I am ??? with ??? Police..........I hung up
these may claim to be a charity, but I classifiy them as telemarketers- Caller: caller Id said Incoming call
- Call type: Telemarketer
- DRV DIVA replies to MoiraI had the same thing today, if you ask them who they are trying to reach they don't know, they are justtrying to raise money for local police or the chikldren...WTF?! I hung up
- kjsome scam artist saying that this was a "recorded call" and was for a charity for "cops helping kids". Wasn't recorded though. I just hung up. total scam artist as they wouldn't be calling Los Angeles from some San Jose number.
- hollywoodjimcalled today, no message left. Timewasters
- DJI didn’t recognize the caller’s name or phone number (INCOMING CALL, 1-408-55-1647), so I did not answer. A recorded message in a loud male voice was left: “we can be reached at 855-806-1638.” Obviously, their message started playing before my machine started recording. Area code 855 is a toll free number. They pay for the call. I do not intend to call them back.
- Caller: INCOMING CALL
- JosephCalled. Caller I.D. just says "Incoming Call"... I don't answer those, or any numbers that are blocked.... Obviously some sort of losers and Republicans trying to raise money on the backs of hard working Americans.
- cjthis moron ask how I was doing. I said good until you called and hung up.
- KateGot a call around 7pm last night. Machine picks up, and it sounded like a live person (loud male voice as in other poster above) saying he's calling from the CA Police Youth Charity. He then hung up, or it cut off. Could be a legit charity or a scam....most likely the latter.
The stupid Caller ID said "Incoming Call." Duh! Yeah, I'd think so---if your phone rings!
I've gotten calls from a so-called police charity for youth before, but not in months. Area codes were from the San Jose area in CA, or Stockton. There was never any message then.
I'm on the Do Not Call list, but ever since I signed up for that, a can of worms has opened. Flooded with unwanted calls from charities, political campaigns, and research companies (all the "exempt" people). And of course scammers since they have a convenient database to pull numbers from.
Like posters above, I never pick up the phone unless I want to talk to the caller. And legit businesses or other people I want to talk to won't have a strange Caller ID anyway.- Caller: CA Police Youth Charity?
- Call type: Non-profit organization
- hazaran| 1 replythe caller was a police officer, and said he want donations for youth children of police officers in order for them to go summer camping. Something like that...
- Caller: incoming call
- ZAP replies to hazaranHow do you know he was a police officer?....Because he told you?
- RobCalled, didn't leave a vm.
- Same Rob on 11/28/2013Called, again. Didn't leave a vm.
- annoyedThese people are annoying. I've told them more than once I am not working and do not have a dime to contribute to their "police charity" .. ugh..
- Call type: Telemarketer
