automated warranty extension messages. this is the fourth number with the same message.

Numerous phone calls on my cell phone from this number.  annoying!

Keeps calling about a car warranty must be some scam or fraud call!!

yes, the unwanted call from the annoying auto warranty marketer--if you  punch '2' to be taken off their list, they just increase the frequency.

Called my son during school. He doesn't even own his Blazer. I do.

So sick of these auto warranty calls made to my cell phone---never ending. If not answered a new number with a different area code will be the next call.  Sneaky!

Auto Warranty call

OK ladies and gents.  We have a new sheriff and a bunch of new deputies in town.

There seems to be two problems.  One is there are all these vanity toll free number companies, that provide 800, 888, 877 numbers at a low cost. The problem, these are not public record.  There is no way for us or any individual to do research on the number.  One place will for $250 a record, I bet they provide the service as well.

The other is the spoofing of Caller ID, which has some legislation around it, but is weak.

These 2 sites will get you to a gov page that will quickly allow you to find your rep and senator.  
It may take a few moments to find the leave comments, or tell us what you think button, but it will be there.  for the Representative, find your 10 digit zip or there is a link to find it on the page,

Tell them to make 800 numbers public records so they can be traced, and to make the caller ID spoofing companies to keep records that can be traced back.  They charge to spoof a number for these scum, and advertise in the web.  Spread the word on all of these sites with the links to congress.

I received a call on my cell phone from this number and chose not to answer.  Glad I made that decision!

Same old here, but I never pick up (just check the phone # online to see what I missed).  My car still has 2 yrs left on its warranty, too.  What I don't understand is why am I getting this same type of "garbage call" every other wk in recent months, from various different phone #s?  Why did this just begin a few months ago - to both my cell # AND home phone?
