someone called saying they are an officer to call them back asap.

Received a call from someone claiming to be an officer for a police report made against me from a cash advance company where I never received an advance from. Officer Richard Hunt 408-663-9032

They called claiming a company filed a police report against you and you need to pay it back. It's bogus and I had a real officer call. They claimed to represent a company named Cash Advance.

Scam, Please call and report this scam.  Federal Trade Commission  600 Pennsylvania ave NW washington, DC 20580 (202) 326-2222.  The harasser is Douglas Black #31296 said that he was with the California investigation and intelligance division of Law Inforcement.

I too received a call from these people. Claiming to be The California Bureau of Investigation. And I spoke to this Sgt. Black who even called a Bit@, and is extremely rude. please be aware of this people. Is totally fake. I actually called the real California Bureau of Investigation, and is totally different!

A guy keeps calling with my personal information saying I have taken a loan and he is a debt collector. He says I have committed 3 crimes and I will be taken to court

I just got the same call and they sounded like they were from Nigeria but I am on the line with my bank now.  It is not true.

I too keep getting these harrassing phone calls.  For an hour they kept calling.  I finally starting answering and screaming and making lots of annoying noises.  After the 3rd call the guy finally gave up.  These people are the scum of the earth and deserve nothing but dirt.  Shame on them for prying on innoscent people.

Received several threatening called from a detective nelson with a thick nigerian accent from sunnyvale (per the phone #) called the sunnyvale police dept no one there by that name and the policeman searched the # stating its not a landline or a cell so its a throw away phone. Stated to not give him any info and to not answer the calls...The man said i have violated homeland security laws.cyber crimes and fraud and i will be drug from my home and interigated if i dont call him back each time the calls got more threatening. Dont answer and dont give any info i did report to the cyber crime unit and my local police dept

The same person called me several times on my cell phone and even called me at work several times.. very rude and insisting i was going to go to jail if i didn't send him my account information and my social security number. Very annoying.

this is a poor sickly little cat. he dont know how to brush his own teeth. all he does is make calls and hope he lands one. i hope to meet him or he comes arrests me.

I work for a law enforcement agency and this food supposedly Ofc Richard Hunt said I owed money from a cash advanced and I never took a loan out from these people. He wouldn't give me any info all he had was my social and bank name. If he had the acct number he would have taken the money. He was rude and I kept calling him and he said I'm gonna freeze ur social I said go ahead but you will be investigated. I don't fall for these scams. He won't get nothing.

Officer Richard Hunt called and left messages on my home and cell phones.  He also called my sister and scared her - she thought it was legitimate.  (All this during the time my Dad was in the hospital having had quadruple bypass and was in critical condition).  He said he was an officer and that I had defaulted on a loan and since I hadn't paid it back they had a warrant for my arrest.  When I asked what company I supposedly got the loan from he said Advance America (or something like that).  I told him that I had never, ever, ever, ever gotten a loan from Advance America and he hung up on me.

I recieved a call saying that they deposited money into one of my accounts in May that wasn't even opened then! Once I called my bank and old them that they were trying to commit fraud the representative then called me on my work phone cursing and telling me to call him back or they would see me in jail!! Somehow they have pulled up my bank information, background information and my personal and residential information.They tried to tell me that they were withthe Beurea of Criminal Apprehension and Investigations. Once I told them that I was going to contact the FBI and BBB they said they would see me in court and hung up the phone. THis is a bunch of bull****.

These people are treatning my wife and told me to tell tell them my name wen I didn't they said they would find me wish they would pricks

They call several times per day, threaten to call police, and sometimes moaning on the line. report the calls to ftc.gov

Man, they don't give up. Don't answer the phone. They like to BS. It is fake 100 %. Call the BBB and they will help you with this.
