Five calls over 2 days! Who is this? and what they want?

this number has called me 3-4 times a day for the past week.  When I answer, the call disconnects.  When I call the number back I get a busy number.  

I answered the phone and the person hung up

Same as all the above - call disconnects when answered and is busy when called.  Found on another site - someone says it showed up as a company called "Five 9".  Wish someone would stop their annoying calls.

Repeatedly call and every time the phone disconnects after we answer.  Shows up on caller ID as "Five 9" and like everyone else, the number is busy when I try to call back.

Call 1-800-553-8159 - this is the number from the Five 9 website - and tell them you are on the do not call list and to quit calling you.  I had a guy actually answer the phone when I called.  He said he would find out which of their customers was using this number and take me off of the list.  I encourage you to call.

i keep getting calls from these people, and the same.  they hang up and when i call busy signal.  teh caller id does say Five 9 also.  i will check their website as someone mentioned here and see further.  i am trying to figure out what is that they are accomplishing by simply seing if someone picks up.  because that is all they are checking, it seems like....

Received a call from 408-754-5040 last 2 days.  Not pick up bvut in missed calls in my phone.  Just called back and got a busy signal.   Thanks

missed the first call but i called back to a busy signal. the second time i picked up and they hung up on me. called back a few times but got a busy signal every time.

Same deal, calling my mobile #, I've missed it every time, busy on callback.

My husband has received numerous calls on his cell phone from this number over the past 2 weeks.
Usually missed calls.  Always busy when we've tried back.
I'm worried this is part of some sort of scam.

Received call from this number the last two days, however I won't answer calls I am not sure who it is from.  Figured if they want me they will leave a message - never left a voice mail message and I did not try to call back.

I have recieved several phone calls from the above #. I called the 800# from five9 which is a predictive dialer call center. A man named Peter answered and I told him I am on the do not call list and he took my # and said he will find out which customer of theirs is dialing the # and have it removed sometime tomorrow.

This number keeps calling my cell phone and hangs up when I answer.

Several calls on a daily basis. If this continues I will file a harrasment suite with the FTC. No reply when answered.Party disconnects once answered.
