Bottom line I had 2000$ stolen from me

This is a scam, they claim to be partnof eBay...THEY ARE NOT!!!! Beware if you get an email or call claiming to be collecting or selling anything...they even have emails claiming to be companies with this number on it to call

This is a scam, they claim to be part of eBay motors but THEY ARE NO PART OF EBAY!!! If you get a call from this phone number or a email from someone that is associated with this number!!! If you are looking to buy something from Facebook and you get a message back saying to contact so and so at email so and so it is a scam! They will email you and tell you payment will be made through eBay and is guarenteed... Ebay will never contact you via phone call or email to buy something or to pay for an invoice.

I got an email regarding purchasing a vehicle. It claimed this 408 number was eBay's customer service number. It's a scam

The lady posted a pic of a vehicle I wanted to buy and she said eBay motors was gonna handle the transaction then she said get 4 prepaid cards and load $500.00 on each then send the information to this fake 408-844-4104 #

There was a post on Facebook of a ATV for sale.  I got a response from someone saying to email my mom, its hers.  I just did the post for her.  She emailed me back.  See below.  Appears to be a scam and I almost did it...  Beware!

Elvira Gordon tried to sell me a 2008 volvo XC90 for 2000.00...4-500.00 cards from ebay...sad that she uses her dead husband as an excuse to scam people!!!

Supposedly bought a ATV I have not received it spent 1500

Elvira Gordon (gordonelvira42@gmail.com) posted a Kubota on Facebook Marketplace under the name of Emily Quinn Kuhn (supposedly her daughter) and then the seller name was changed to Kristy Kruse.  To complete the transaction, they want you to send them $2000 through an eBay gift card saying eBay Motors has it.  Even sent an invoice for it (poorly worded and the word eBay was in it's logo colors everywhere on the invoice--eBay doesn't do this either!).  Stupid people think they can scam anyone!

Saw this same deal for a Kubota. Figured it was too good to be true but decided to play along. Her email was word for word as above. Soooo pathetic! Nice try Elvira or whatever your name is. Stupid scammer lol

Never purchase automobiles or other large expensive personal property sight unseen.  In any event, never
pay with untraceable financial instruments.  Request for payment by untraceable means is proof
positive that it is a scam.  Be safe.  Never buy sight unseen.  Especially for something like a vehicle.

Make a police report of fraud.  That's about all you can do.  There is no ATV.  You've been scammed.

Typical scammer comments...death/illness...must sell..EBay is handling the sale (NOT)...low price.

That same listing was emailed to a friend through Facebook, but the author, "Rose Roblez" stated tractor was being sold through eBay motors.

I received a very similar email. It was for a truck being sold and the lady said her husband recently passed away and the truck belonged to her husband. She further stated that the truck reminded her of him to much and that's why she was selling it so cheap. I received a invoice with the 408 number so I decided to call it. The guy kept asking for a invoice # but I told him I was trying to get information on how sell a vehicle through eBay not buy one. He just hung the phone up. I knew it was a scam.

i call the number and w/the language barrier it frustrates you..being an ebay member for 10yrs i only pay via paypal..they say the invoice dubbles if u pay thru paypal..i even type in the item number on ebay and some odd item(s) pop up
