This is the same scam message we have received from 323-798-8370.  Heavy accent saying his name is Steve Martin and threatening legal action.  I guess they are using a lot of different numbers with the same recorded message.  Beware.  We got the call from this number just minutes after receiving the exact same recording coming from the other number.

Beware--this is a scam. Heavy accented voice; individual states his name is Steve Martin and threatening legal action. This person was featured on our local news station after they had scammed a family of $17,000.  They asked family to purchase green prepaid cards and once done had home owner give card numbers over the phone.  Notice, this scammer never will address whoever he is calling by name. Once you call back he will ask for your name per news station.

Called identifys self as Jay Wilson with United States Treasury stating warrant has been issued for you.  Hangs up when asked for supervisor name, etc.

I received a call from this number at 4 am.  It scared me to death getting a call in the middle of the night like that. It threatened me with legal action for a federal crime.  Thank God I know enough about the law to know that if I had committed a federal crime I certainly wouldn't be contacted in that way.  Plus, I am a law abiding citizen.  And, yes, it was a heavily accented male voice with a threatening tone saying his name was Steve Martin.

I also received 5 calls from 323-798-8370 and 408-882-6503 in one hour.  A total scam.  A bad recording with a person who can't say their "r's" and an aggressive tone is what is recorded.
