left a message threatening legal action if the call wasn't returned by the end of the business day, but never stated where the call was from or what it regarded

left a message stating that i have an arrest warrant,this guy that call has an Indian accent and that i have to call them back ASAP or else

Got a call from a David Write saying there was legal action taken against me but did not say company. In the end he says if I do not return the call all he can do is wish the best of luck. Think this is the fifth time a call of this sort has been left on my voicemail. Hard to understand this guy due to his accent. Called the number back once before and it was a dead line. Scam indeed!

Received voicemail from a guy named jason saying they was with oakwood law group that I had to call by end of day or their would be a warrant issued for me called back in which I knew was a scam just to get more info on them reached David wright which told me that USA cash advance was the one that is suing me for a $300 loan fraud and one other thing to keep case from going to court I could pay 8000....I hung up and reported them 1 I've never had a loan in my life 2 their number is from Cali oakwood law group is in Michigan and has no branches in cali 3 you can't get a warrant for a civil matter it has to go to court and before they can do that you have to receive letters in mail phone calls are not valid,......

Received call from 408-915-5242 saying that they had a warrant for my arrest and that someone who be coming to my place of employment and arrest me.  They said it was about a payday loan but were unable to give me any information about it said I would get the information when I was arrested.  I asked about the amount of money that we supposedly deposited into my account and they also couldn't tell me that.

They call my on 10/09/14 saying if I didn't call back they have warrant for my arrest this is not the first time they have call me

Got a call from a David saying he was with a law firm and that I had a warrant and took a pay day loan and wanted me to settle out of court but I never took a loan

Got a call from an Indian man saying arrest warrant out because I failed to pay back pay day loan.  Never took a pay day loan ever. Third time he called back, I answered and told him if he calls one more time, I am contacting my attorney and police department and reporting his sorry a** to them for the scam he's doing to everyone!  He hung up.

Got a digital call from them saying if I don't call before the end of the day an arrest warrant would be issued. Really and they are talking to a paralegal! Yea right!

I to got a call of what seemed to a computer generated female voice.  The # was 931-555-0175 which is in Nashville, TN.  When I got the address it was an old apt building.  Same complaint, threaten arrest if I did not call the # they left me.  That # is 408-915-5242 in CA.  Please do not fall of their requests and verbal threats.  No one can call you and say they are going to arrest you over the phone.

Called twice in a row at 1:20 AM and message said I'd have warrant by end of day if I didn't call them back. Called the number: 408-915-5242 back about 15 minutes later and rang 5 or 6 times then went voice mail to automated voice saying you have reached 408-915-5242, unavailable, leave message.

The beginning of the message is cut off so i can't hear who or where it's from.

I made the mistake 5 months ago signing up to see what type of PAYDAY loan I might get online. I have received hundreds of phone messages from all around the country from many different companies.
This call is disturbing since they threaten that an arrest warrant if you do not return call. Luckily the cheesy Indian voice  from "JASON" and the lack of detail made me discount the message. Then I came on this site to see similar messages.

This call keep calling me about threat call

I have received a phone call stating if I don't call back by the end of the day, I would be arrested.  This is a scam!!!  I have heard this same voice with different numbers for the past couple of years and I have even talked to the states attorney general office.  I have been informed that what they have been doing is illegal and that they are scammers.  By law they can't threaten you with legal action or arrest warrant talk.  

Got a call twice from this law firm called Oakwood LLC. A lady with a heavy india accent named, I guess Emily (her accent was difficult to understand) and stated an arrest warrant has been issued. Unless I return the call it will follow through.

Something smells "Scammy" in India.
