Just to let everyone know that the IRS will send a certified letter with a return receipt required if they're trying to reach you. Whoever is making these phone calls is scum. - TimI'm getting the same thing. It's an automated number stating that the IRS has been trying to reach me. This message is the last as they are trying to sue me. Very sketchy.

- N replies to BarbI received the same call this morning, and when I told the man on other end of the line that I knew it was a scam, he called me names and physically threatened me. He said, "you are a [***] and I am going to come to your house and F you tonight." I hung up and called the police and reported these sick criminals. I hope they don't get one single dime from anyone. They are not located in the USA. It was clear that this call was coming from India. The police officer that took my call said that these calls are rampant in our area, and that it should be reported on this website: https://www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report_scam.shtml
- DotsdgtrReceived a call which my recorder picked up. Stated we were to immediately contact this number. Identified themselves as the IRS was filing a lawsuit against us. This was an automated female caller. Call came in on 7/26/15. This is the second time we have received this call.

- Phished OffI received the same call today as everyone else who posted here. It's a robo voice telling me the IRS "Internal Revenue Services" (plural, LOL) is suing me. HAHAHA!
Previously I rec'd calls from the same people at a different number, but they used actual live LOSERS to call, so it was a dead giveaway because of their strong foreign accents. Now they have switched to a wheelchair-bound physicist style voice! I hate to tell ya LOSERS but that ain't gonna be any more believable. Good luck in your next life because you've squandered away this life working for a scammer / phisher organization.
When I called this company back (blocking my caller ID with *67, of course), I rec'd a recording saying the person I was trying to call was not there and I should leave them a message. I left a message, alright!- Caller: Phisher Price Pfister Phisher
- Call type: Telemarketer

- Get a real job!I have gotten multiple voicemails from this scam months a part.. This is a
Scam!!! They are located in India and try to threaten people for money.. If the IRS wants to sue u they will send something snail mailed.. I called them back and used every explicit name I could think of and told them to GET A REAL JOB!!! I feel really bad for the elderly and the lower functioning population that would fall into that trap.. DONT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY!!!!!- Caller: IRS Scam
- JulioThis # left two automated messages on my voice mail today. Only the tail end (how fitting) was recorded. "...case file. Call this department 409-232-0155 immediately." Right. Just couldn't wait to call them. One thing is for darn sure - the IRS is not located in Beaumont or Galveston, Texas. And if it had an office there, it wouldn't be scamming people in Minnesota.
- JulieI received two calls today from this number with same message as all of you received. I have to admit that it scared me a little but I knew the IRS would not contact me via phone.
- steveReceived a recorded call on my answering machine "IRS has filed a lawsuit against you. Call 409-232-0155 for more details." Obviously another bogus fraudulent 'IRS' well reported type calls. Received these type of calls before unfortunately, mostly a male accented voice. This time was a female with no accent. It appears that they are trying a different tact using a women's unaccented voice.
- TimAbout the same as the rest. Answering machine recorded 2 messages today claiming they were the irs. This in in Ohio; thinking of reporting it.
- Denice FortenberryI received a call from a telephone number in Beaumont, TX (per my caller ID). An automated message, in a woman's voice, stated that the IRS was trying to reach me and that this was their final attempt to contact me before filing a lawsuit against me. The automated message encouraged me to call them back right away at (409) 232-0155 and the number was repeated prior to the end of the call.
