Disconnects when answered.  Called back only to get a recorded message saying the office is closed, please call back Monday - Friday.

Received two calls from this 409-234-4818.  Didn't answer the first one but today I did.  It came up in my caller ID as Samuels Jewelry.  I answer and the voice, a heavy accent from a "sand bearing nation" proceeds to tell me his name is Steve Fox  ( if he had said Mohammed I may have beleived him)  and he is with a vehicle processing center and wants to talk about my 2008 Honda.  I asked him again Where are you calling from and he says a vehicle processing center.  I then said Oh is that what they call a jewelry store now?  He says I don't know anything about that.  I finally said he was full of crap and hung up on him.                Beware, this is some sort of scam !!!!

Called the number back and got a recorded message that stated "the office is currently closed. Please call back Mon-Fri 7am to 4pm Pacific  Time." Funny thing is, that area code 409 is a TEXAS area code and we are in the Central Time Zone. This seems weird to me. The message didn't even state what office or company this was connected to. Not ligit in my opinion!

I missed a call from the phone number 409-234-4818.  When I called back to see who it was I got a recorded message saying the office was closed. The message did not state the name of the company or anything.

I'm getting this same thing - Disconnects when answered. An automated message states the office is closed and to call abck during specific Pacific time. However, if I call during thise times, I get the same message.

Got the same message from "a vehicle warranty processing center"  When asked what company it is for, he said "we handle all the warranties for Toyota.  When asked again, he hung up.  As I almost never get any of the extended warranties, I knew this was a scam trying to get you to buy an extended warranty through a third party.  And as they cannot even give out their company information, their reliability would be extremely sketchy at best.

I get calls from that number at least once a week.. Disconnect as soon as I answer, and a recording when I call back.

Got a call this morning from this number, lots of talking in the background obviously a room full of telemarketers.  Super thick accent, pronounced my wrong (Sarah Click) it's just not that hard....said he was from a "vehicle processing company" I asked what he wanted and he said something about offering me something for my vehicle.    I said no thanks and please take me off your list...asked him to confirm he understood my request and he disappeared however the call did not disconnect.

wanted to sell me an extended warranty for my vehicle.  told him to remove me from the list and don't call again.
we'll see.

Got the same message from "a vehicle warranty processing center" .  She said they handle the extended warranty on my car..  She kept asking how many miles are on my car.  I asked her why she wanted to know about my car, she said they are updating "their" information.  I told her I don't remember buying any warranty from them, and she hung up.  I also immediately called back the number, only to get the "office is closed" message as well.

Got a call.  Said he was with the vehicle processing department.  It took a while to figure out that was what he was saying.  I asked him who are you with? he said it again.  I told him I don't want to know what department you are with but what company you are with.  He said he was with the vehicle processing department. They handle all the policies for Ford dealerships.  I said we don't have a policy with any Ford dealerships.  I again asked the name of his company.  He asked me you don't have an F250 anymore?  I asked again, what company he worked for and said we don't have ANY policies with his company and have nothing to do with ANY Ford dealership.  He said OK and hung up.

When you put the phone number in you get Samuels Jewelry store in Beaumont.  So I checked up on them.  They are owned by India's Gitanjali Gems Ltd.  This is starting to make sense.  The callers all sound Indian.  I could be wrong, but I have a feeling that Gitanjali does more than jewelry.  It sounds like they do scams too!!  

Getting multiple calls from 409 prefix numbers. They all appear related to scam.
