Alarm system scam
Strong foreign accent speaking haltingly "I am calling on behalf of General Electric and Honeywell, because you have been using your alarm system for more than three years."
Yeah, right!

Called at 5:20 this afternoon.  I don't answer calls from unfamiliar numbers.  Call went to VM and, as usual, no message left...a strong indicator that this is a scam call from thieving criminals.  Number now blocked and will never bother me again...well, at least not from this particular number.

PS: 800Notes needs another Call Type...scamming thief.

They said I had burglar alarm system for three years. I denied that, pretended I did not know what she (Asian sounding) was talking about. She asked me if Windows and doors were covered, yes I said with curtains and shades. She transferred me to supervisor who sounded less Asian but mispronounced my name as well. This rep said I qualified for free system, l said I do not want anything for free because it would likely be no good. She said again system would be free, I said I have the right to refuse it. Then I asked who are you, where are you from and how did you get my name? Hang up! Hahahahaha

Called at 5:37 PM.  Wanted to talk to me about my alarm system.  Don't have one.  Female with a strong foreign accent - tried to convince me I had an alarm system, and on questioning, said it wasn't a scam.  She got the air horn.

Joy from the alarm co. Three years, free upgrade etc.

Oh, and the number is invalid.

Number is spoofed = scam
