No name left on machine.   Unknown.

We receive daily calls from this number.  It rings 4 times and they hung up.
Anyone know their story?

My caller ID says MOD.
March of Dimes?
Mother of Devil?

These people keep calling and calling.  Says "March of Dimes" when I use the number.  I can't believe it.  I am on the Do-Not-Call list.  I do not want to hear from them again.

I would agree with the latter, yes.

same thing as everyone else.  Caller ID says MOD, coming daily at different hours but mainly mornings till mid afternoon.  Occasionally it rings through to the answering machine and it sounds like a butt dial.  But once they called in the early evening and I picked up.  I heard background noise then they hung up.

They use several phone numbers including. As long as the ID says MOD..just ignore it. It is computer generated and after several unanswered calls over a few days it will stop.

I have received so many calls from caller ID MOD that it is telephone abuse.  They never leave message and always seem to hang up before answering machine comes on.  I, too, am on national do not call list, but they keep calling.  I finally dialed the number and chose option for more details.  After listening to their spiel, they have an option to choose to be removed from their list.  I opted out.

Numerous calls at all times during the day, as late as 8:30 CST.  Never leaves a message.  PIB - pain in the Butt...

Never seems to stop here.  Have been getting these calls for MONTHS including Sundays and evenings.  Not the way to fund raise!!!

I just called the number and listened to the spiel. At the end there is an option to opt out of these calls. We'll see.

It's March of Dimes. They also call from a 240 area code. I just got a new cell phone # and they have called a dozen times. Somebody must have tipped them off to red meat - they don't call my land line. I saved their number as DONTANSWER so I don't worry that I'm missing an important call. Still annoying though, when you're changing a light bulb or cleaning the toilet and you hear the phone ring. But seeing that DONTANSWER tag almost makes it worth the interruption. :-P

Take it a step further.  Assign it the ring tone "no ring".

When you call that number back, 410-202-0116 you get a March Of Dimes answering machine. You can go through the prompts and put your phone number in to get removed from the solicitation list and it takes 30 days to complete.

I to called and choose to be removed from the calling list. The recording said will try and remove
mny phone # in the next couple of day.

I have also been getting them once or twice daily, however now my called ID shows that it is a private home...still have not answered and won't..I am also on the Do Not Call list...ridiculous how these places can manipulate the system...
