This was a call that came in attempting to collect on a debt. After speaking with them they happen to have the wrong information and I informed them that I was going to call the original company and talk with them first. They began threating me with being arrested and criminal charges filed. Needless to say I called the original company and they had never heard of the BCI and instructed me to ignore the call due to the call probly being a scam.

I got a call from this number from an individual with a foreign accent (Indian?) claiming to be an officer with the Bureau of Investigation.  He turned me over to his superior officer, "Senior Restitution Officer James Brown." I asked them if they were with a government agency and they said that they were. I asked which agency they worked for and they said the United States. When I asked what they investigated they said "people." He then proceeded to read the "charges against me." I couldn't understand a word he was saying because of his strong accent. They claim that I had a pay day loan (which I did not have) in the amount of $300 and that I owed $502 to settle the claim. All they needed was my bank account information so they could deduct the funds from my account.  When I pressed for details about who they were and what agency they were part of, they said they were working for the federal govt and the Attorney General of Maryland.  When I told them that I used to worked for the Attorney General of Maryland, they hung up on me.

I continuosly get calls from this number telling me it is a very serious legal matter and that I or my attorney in fact need to contact them immediately. I ask for paper work to back up their claim that I owe this money because I know full well that I do not and they refuse to provide any information. They just threaten me and tell me that they need my bank account information to settle the claim against me or I will go to jail. Most of the people working for this company are foreigners and very hard to understand. The message I got today said they work for the Law office of Jason Bell in the Bureau of Crime Investigation. The number they left for a return call is 410-205-9153 ext. 210.

so apperently i owe bill gates 4 million dollers from when i sent my cpu back to hp, for "a criminal (something) computer problems." but there gonna need bank info to complete the transaction, o yea like me working at kfc like i have 4 mill. to give 'em or something, ARE THEY NUTS OR WHAT?????? I got a message from these guy Harry Henderson (BCI)- Really, I call was put on hold several times and then I got to speak with Harry I ask him for his ID# 709 and I asked if he would hold well i check him out by call the really BCI, He hung up on me. Really,

The call came up as my fiance's work phone number, I thought it strange he was calling the land line and not my cell. The man on the other end had an accent, possiblly that of India. He said he was MArk Benson with the Bureau of Crime Investigation. He said he needed to speak to my fiance, he needed to arrange payments right away if he didn't want to have criminal charges, and he gave me the phone number 410-205-9153.

This company said that they are collecting for Cash Advance USA and a warrant was out for my arrest at 10:30 today.  They left a message on my answering machine which is illegal in Pennsylvania because other people besides myself can hear the message.  The people that I owe the money to never heard from them.

This is fake. I called the FBI in Tampa, FL. I am getting these calls ridiculous. The FBI told me to hang up, put an alert on my credit and ignore them. They have been calling my job; we all hang up on them. You can report them to the FCC and call your local law enforcement if you are afraid. The FBI said this is a known scam. They call from other countries; they spoof phone numbers from the USA.

Got a call from james jacobs dci very heavy indian accent telling me i owe a payday loan never took one out!! Told me I would be arrested if I didnt send 303.00 every two weeks until I payed 906.00,,I am not insane Called 27 times in 4 minutes.

they called me from 410 215 9153 an left a message sayin they were the fbi an i was going to jail and they told me my social number and i.d , when i confronted them about what i seen on here there sounded like a whole group of them saying they were gonna [***] my sister and rape my moms [***] an killmy dog after i used some profanity with them then they called me off a simalar number that was a 205 sayin they were gonna ruin my life, therees nothing u can do about these pricks either they think its finny when u confront them

Got the sme call from "bureau of Crime invstigations, first person claimed to be an officer and he had to transfer me to his CAPTIAN because of a warrant out for my arrest and that I could be picked up today.

On Friday April 22, 2011 approximately between 11am-1pm, I received a yeah and Hi voice message from 410-205-9153 ext. 799 who claimed to be Officer Michaels. He then paused in the message and said Michael Black of VCI Bureau of Crime Investigations. He stated that this message was intended for me and that there were serious complaints on my name and social security in reference to my case. He stated that I needed to get with an attorney. He raised his voice stating that if I don’t call him back he will force my case and I will be locked behind bars to face the maximum penalty. He stated not to disregard this message and that he look forward to my call. He stated thank you and have a great day.

A new number with the same old scam.  Beware of the number 4108342592.  It is also a scam.

i got a call too saying i owed money that i paid back like 4 years ago and when i called back and told him i knew my rights and to stop calling my phone and my work and i told him i reported hi to the federal trade commission he told me f*** you and hung up

Received 7 calls from four different numbers, every caller had a very thick difficult to understand Asian or Indian accent and each one seemed to be reading verbatim from the same script, each threatening to have me arrested if I didn't agree to pay on a delinquent payday advance by wiring the monies to them. One call was from a Mike Taylor @760/544-1748, another was from a Shaun Williams @ 334/654-9314 and 5 calls from 410/ 635-5119; two from a Rick Walters and three from a Christina White.  The calls were probably American "spoofed #'s", more then likely from the same location.  When I told one of the men that his call was a violation of federal law because it was interstate fraud, he replied with a faked laugh, "ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha, f**k you" and hung up.  Today, September 21, 2012, I received Christina White's 3rd call, a voice message, which surprised me because I had blocked their number.  Anyway, I returned the call and was directed to a person claiming to be her, but her voice was different and her accent wasn't as heavy.  She quickly hung up when I told her that I had contacted the FBI, the Internet Crime Complaint Center, the Federal Communications Commission and Homeland Security because of my concerns that they might have terrorist ties.

Very soon I'm going to court against them. I already talk to my attorney.
