Called left no message blocking

No message - scam call.

How in the heck do these people have my work and home telephone #?

Is your phone number between (000) 000-0000 and (999) 999-9999? It is! Ah Ha! That's how the criminals do it! They pick an area code and call EVERY number! Darn clever this crooks! - - - - I think you get the idea.

Answered call, caller identified as Adam from PEPCO offering energy saving audit with giving away powerstrip, light bulb, etc. I said I could not talk at the moment and ask for call back #, which was different from this number (888-565-2809).

Called me yesterday & Today

Received literally 20+ calls in past 2 weeks AT WORK.  No message left.  Now struggling not to answer and blow my top...

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

Received calls from this number several times which i could not answer.. no voicemail was left. Eventually when i answered it, person claimed to be from Pepco offering some energy savings rewards. I declined to talk.

This number calls has called me 6-8 times a day for the past two weeks.
