Called around 8:20 pm, voices in background

Someone called this morning at around 10 AM and said I had scheduled a pick-up for donations.  I did not call anyone for this service.

AmVets Pick Up Service is still calling from this number.

These people have gotten smart: Now they call from a slightly different number to avoid the call block!

Listed as AMVETS for CDSI.  I NEVER make any merchandise pickups as charitable contributions.  NEVER done business with these people before.  They are now on my block list.

Someone claiming to be AmVets wanting contributions.  Does anything given really go to Am. Veterans or does it go somewhere else?  Don't give to these annoying spammers.

Nothing like an unsolicited call at 9:15 on a Saturday morning. I was up, but geez. I thought it was someone important.

AMVETS TO SCHEDULE PICK UP FOR UNWANTED CLOTHING/ETC.  Legitimate caller.

Lately these spammers call almost daily, doesn't look all that legitimate.

Recorded voice message starts off with, "This is Amy from Central Donations".  Caller ID says 'AMVETS FOR CDSI.'
Two calls from here in one day.
Enough already!

I use to put out clothing for AMVETS for their pickup, but i think that will stop.

Got a call from this number for AMVETS this evening around 6:30pm.  Got a call from a different number and name, but for the same reason on Monday the 8th around 10:30am.  The second call was from 410-665-3302 and identified on CID as Evelyn Mills.  Didin't answer either call and would never donate anything to a scam like this.  It's most likely a scam that collects clothes, furniture and the like, and then sells the items to anybody through some store that has nothing to do with AMVETS.

(Even though I've identified the caller as a non-profit organization, it's a scam and they are making a profit!!)

They have been calling my number for many years.

Keep getting this message. I never answer calls from unknown numbers due to prevalence of spoofing. They say they are collecting items for MS but CID says it is for Vets. Scam  rather than a  non profit although they pose as one.  Do not answer or respond. Silence is golden.

Just so you know, AmVets is   NOT a nonprofit..they are using this name to sound non profit. You can check out which places are actual non-profit online. There is a couple that own this company and they rake in the money.

Getting daily calls from this number. Stop it already! I donate to the Goodwill only if I find anything I am no longer using and someone would be happy to own secondhand. The Goodwill is the only place worth donating too for peace of mind.

AMVETS.. I use them to get rid of stuff I no longer need like clothing, toys, stuff in good condition and works.

The only time I have been called by Amvets was after I had scheduled a pickup and they called the evening before to confirm the pickup date for the next day. They have never cold called me after that for more donations, for any other donations, I initiated the calls.

AMVETS FOR CDSI still cold calling from this number. Thank goodness Verizon Fios increased the block list to 100 numbers - this one is permanent.
