We also got a call from agent Larry Wilkins threatening "federal law enforcement" against us if we did not call back within 48 hours.  We are in the greater Seattle area.  The number was 410 630-1960. I tried to call them to play with them, but the phone has been busy.  

"Agent Larry Wilkins" from unnamed "law enforcement" bureau instructing me to call the "very second" I receive this message regarding a time-sensitive legal issue.  "The hotline to our division" is 410-630-1960.  Caller says if I fail to respond within the next 48 hours, I will face "federal law enforcement procedures."  

I do not believe any part of this message that was left and will report to the real law enforcement agency.

I was called and told I owed money from an IRS Audit and missed my court date and was told to pay now or law enforcement would be dispatched to arrest me and bring me to court.

We got the same message today.  The guy seems to speak broken English, too.  I had trouble understanding him.

Received a similar phone message this afternoon, Jan. 16. "Federal law enforcement" telling me to call within 48 hours, or face charges. Sounded outrageous. The man caller had a bit of a foreign accent. I too, live in the greater Seattle area. Any comments? Would be interested to hear more. Sandy

same as below - Larry Wilkins called from the IRS with "time sensitive" case and threatened criminal action - just called back to say i would be reporting. I'm in CO ... to add to it, I also received call that someone was trying to remotely access my computer - foreign accent - teamviewer.com - not sure if related but interestingly enough,  in same week.

I got a call from a Danny from the IRS investigations unit.  I called back , he claimed live that he was from it and has been reported to the FTC.  I'm in the Snohomish CO area.  Called on Martin Luther King day, a holiday for federal employees. Sounded like he had a semi-asian accent.

Got the same call on our phone. I will be reporting it to the local authorities.

I received a message from same Larry Wilkins threatening me to call him within 48 hours orderwise will face federal litigation. I live in greater Hartford area. Called number back to no avail. Any information on this guy, whom he is please and why he is threatening people without proper identification ?

Just got the exact same message

I received this message on my answering machine this morning from this number. I called it back and a womans voice came on saying the number is not in service.

I called Agent Larry Wilkens and acted really worried. Said I thought I paid all my federal taxes. He said I would be arrested today if I didn't take care of the bill, right then over the phone. He even had my address. I told him I would have my attorney contact him for more information and he hung up.

Got the same message on my machine IRS Agent Larry Wilkins,48 hours to call from this very second or face Federal Law  Inforcement proceedings. Had an accent,used the same words time sensitive,.How intimidating would this be for the elderly? Seattle area police are well aware of this scam,instructed me to contact Treasury Inspector General Phone 1 800 366 4484 .The mailbox was full.Poor Larry if I can get him on the phone,all he's getting from me is a piece of my mind.

Got the same call, am in SE Washington state. He just left the same message on my voice mail. The phone number is out of Chase, MD, but I'm sure it's spoofed. Was referred to call another number, 888-321-9438. I wonder if it's the same person using the name of Larry Wilkins, or a bunch of people just sitting in a boiler room somewhat in the world using that name? They sure are stupid and ignorant.

Got a call from the same guy - broken english - Agent Larry Wilkins. He told me I had to pay back taxes or I would be arrested by local law enforcement for committing fraud. I told him I would call my tax attorney and he hung up and said, "Stay where you are and I will send the police to arrest you in 30 minutes."
This sounded ridiculous because I had just received paperwork from the local IRS division in my city with a due date to respond 30 days out. Then I found this string of posts, and knew it was a scam. I called him back, and acted scared and said, "Hey Larry, I see all kinds of stuff about you online you POS! You are a scam, and a total dirtbag." He replied, "Go [***] yourself [***]." and hung up. THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM. The sad part is, people probably pay this jerk and never see their money again. I am going to forward this to the FBI, and local police.

Received the call from agent Larry Wilkins this afternoon-very broken English and the message he left and urgent message that as soon as I reveived this message I was to return his call regarding a sensitive matter.

In Seattle receiving calls from agent Larry Wilkins who threatens sever actions if his phone call isn't returned.

Folks----REAL servers do NOT call!!!  They arrive unannounced.

The caller is a thief who is trying to scare you & extort money from you. IGNORE!!
