I just got one also from the same #. No message and busy when you call back.

Same here, called my cell (I am on the Do Not Call list), no message, busy.  Who is this?

Left a message saying they could lower my interest rate, didn't id themselves or say what kind of interest rate they are referring to.

Wanting to confirm expiration dates. Said no. And hung up!

Yeah, got a call and an automated voice said they are calling from Account Services ( no name for this account service) and they would like to give a final notice to lower the rates. The automated call said "Hello, Iam Heather, from account services". I just hung up the call.

Just got a call from this number. When I picked up, I got only silence on the other end, then they hung up. I called back and got a busy signal.

Asked for credit card number in full.  I ended call.  Scam

Received 2 calls, back to back, 11:11am CST on 7/25/2014. This is Discover Account Services again. Have had problems with this scam in the past, will be reporting to FTC and possibly FBI as it is a KNOWN SCAM that has been going on for several years. I've had calls from them multiple times a day, day after day in the past. Do NOT answer unknown numbers with funky area codes such as this. If you look at news reports about Discover Account Services, you'll see just how long this scam has been running and how effective this scam is.

Heavy foreign accent, calling about "My credit card", what credit card? "The Visa and the Mastercard", oh OK the Visa and the MasterCard, huh.....wreaked of a scam, when I would give up no useful information the female caller promptly hung up on me. Tried to call the number back and get a constant busy signal. Be real wary of this one.....

just received, didn't answer, no message left...looked up here first, sighed with relief, added to reject list. Thank you 800note bloggers.

Just got a call, but I didn't answer.  I came here right after to see who this could be.  From the sounds of it my gut feeling was correct.  THANKS everyone for the updates!  We need more sites like this to help consumers protect each other!!!!

I just got a call from this # too! I never bother to pick up foreign numbers; you never know who's waiting on the other line! :( Thanks to everyone as well who posted their knowledge on the caller info. :)

Got a call on my cell.  Account Services... "this is your final notice"... blah blah blah.  If you press 1 you'll get to the operator to have these "wonderful" services, but if you press 2 you'll get no more notices.  I pressed 2, and I get an almost immediate, "Hello?  Hello?"  A person was suddenly on the phone asking me why I don't want any more notices.  What?!  I said, "Because I don't want your services, idiot.  Because it's illegal for you to call me since I'm on the national and state Do Not Call rosters."  He kept saying "Why".  I figure they must get paid by the number of seconds they can keep a person on the call.  I finally hung up.  They succeeded in getting me upset.  My advice would be to hang up as soon as you hear their canned message.  These people are up to no good.

Asked to be taken off their list and was rudely told " No!"

Received a call from this number at 9:45 this morning. Caller left no message and when I called back, the line was busy. I found out that 410 is the area code for Maryland, is that helps anyone.

They claimed I had a credit card with them and said that they could lower my interest rate, then said"  your balance is over $3000, right?" I laughed and said "If I have an account with you why don't you tell me what my balance is." They then hung up. The line comes up as a Verizon number, but Verizon claimed that the spammers are spoofing the caller id. That is why when you call them back it wont go through. This is definitely an out of country credit card fraud ring. Verizon said that if you hit the number when prompted it will only make them call you more because they know the number is a live number. Lesson learned.
