- tawny| 2 repliesI received a call from this number telling me that my information was pulled from some site and they wanted me to come in for an interview. What?
- BOCK replies to tawnyi got the same thing who are they
- somebody81I think that the name of the company is BANKERS.
- Caller: Bankers
- BiancaReceived a vm message today from same number saying they located my resume online and wanted me to come in for an interview. I will not respond to them. If it's a legit company then they will say who they are representing.
- Peyton GiselleI received a voicemail from this number today as well, yes I agree, if they were legit, a name would have been left.
- aGenericMatthew| 1 replyGot a call from this number twice now, IDENTICAL message both times with sounds like a call-center in the background, heavy but less than identifiably-accented female voice (to my ear, she sounds Indian-ish at the beginning, then almost Russian/Eastern European and/or stoned toward the end)...
"Gyudafternoon Ma~atthew. dThis is dToni calling from Ba~ankers(?). I came across your resume online and I would like to discuss to you about the job opportunities we have available. You can reach me at 410-705-6551. I'm looking forward to hearing from yew have a grate daye." (intentionally misspelled to highlight the strangeness of this message)- Caller: Unknown
- Alex| 1 replyHi everyone, I just got a call from that number yesterday, actually a voicemail message. Anyway, the message this lady Tony? or Dony left was WORD FOR WORD what "aGenericMatthew" wrote. Saying she found my resume online and would like to discuss job opportunities....I gave her a call back, and we talked for like 15mins, HOWEVER I honestly did not understand a single word she said. Is the company name actually BANKERS? that's what I heard too
- Tim J replies to AlexHey, these people keep calling my girlfriend's cell number. I called them back on my own phone, asking what they are about. Heavy accents. I think they said they sell stuff...insurance or something???? (I'm located in Maryland BTW.) I got frustrated and hung up because I just couldn't understand their horrible English. Not a very good idea to have someone that is hard to understand to be a recruiter for a company, (and by reading these posts, no one is even sure what they are called "Bankers"..."Bangers" ..."[***]"??????)!!!! Anyway, my girlfriend has been applying for jobs recently and they got her number somehow from that I'm sure. There are probably 15 people in one room in India somewhere making these calls all day long. Next time they call I'm just going to keep asking them over and over again what they are saying, and spell it out, because I can't understand their English, that should frustrate them a little I think, and ask them to opt the number they call out of there system or I report them. I just hope they call on my day off, so I can entertain myself a little. I'll report back when that happens.
Peace peeps!!! - Joanne M.I received the same call but only before that, from the same number, I received a message with, what it sounds like, a live band testing out a new song in the garage. I listened to it all the way through to see if some one will talk and it was only the music and then they hung up.
I saved it only because i was going to let someone else listen to it. When I listened to it again, i listen to the message envelope information to see what phone number it came from and it was the same number as the recording from the woman about the job.....WEIRD!!!- Caller: Sound like "Bankers"
- Melissa replies to aGenericMatthewOMG! lol That is the EXACT message I got, except of course the name.. lol That is too funny!
- EarlGot a call from them. I actually did pick up. The lady Toni had such a thick accent that it was hard for me to understand. She said she got my number from Monster.com and that she would email me info about a job interview the following week. I'm pretty sure it's a scam insurance job where you pay for classes to get your insurance license but never actually make any money from commissions.
- DaveI tt. Tawny and told her to send me the information and here you go:

- Resident of phoenix mdI received a call from 410-705-6551 and the lady said she got my number from an ad that I answered about a job opening. I could barely understand her. Sounds like a prank.
- Opus1dogTotally an overseas call center doing recruitment for a second-rate insurance company. It's sad to get these kind of calls in this economy, during Christmas, when you're unemployed. It's predatory.
- Caller: Bankers Life & Casualty
- AnonymIf Bankers calls... RUN!!
The manager (Brian Godfrey) is a nut job. He likes to make himself look good by making his staff look bad. His management style is intimidation. His is the biggest [***] I have ever met.- Caller: Bankers
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Hello replies to tawnyDid you morons ever consider that you put your resume online and you are being called by recruiters? Naah, probably too busy complaining about the long line at the disability or welfare office to get your checks.
