    Just did more digging. The number is an alternate number for a place located in mount vernon. Health promotion education&tabacco use prevention. They have five numbers listed. Weird.

    Repeated calls .does not answer when pick up. Left a message that was cut off saying to call back to solve a dispute.  Comes up on caller ID as Swan Cove.

    Calls over and over aprox every 20 min all day today.  Same as everone else.  you answer and it hangs up.  You call back and its not in service.  I DID get a partial voicemail that asks me to call and says "we look forward to resolving this matter.  I have no idea what matter it is refering to but seeing as this has been occuring since 2011 I'm blocking the number.  Smells of a scam.

    This number called my cell phone and immediately hung up. Research comes up with Qverse, which is a Philippines based company specializing in call centers and telemarketing. My guess is these calls are to verify working in use numbers.  Below is their "about" blurb from their web site.

    LOL! After I got this call to my cell and hung up, I almost imediately received a call to my home number; RoboCall with "important news regarding my credit card". As soon as I hung up on that, my cell phone rang again from this number, but this time it was a robo call claiming to be from some collections agency representing "a Maryland State Agency".

    My child's cell phone was getting calls from actual collections agencies a few years ago, (isn't it just great when people give out wrong numbers to their debtors?) and they never robo called, they were always live callers that left messages. And when I was able to answer it before it went to voicemail, I told them they had been harassing a child, and it had been their number for several years, check the records with my cell company. They apologizes and the calls stopped.

    Real debt collectors are ruthless, yes, but they don't robo call, and they don't waste time going after people who don't own the debt.

    Keep calling and saying I owe a collection and they want to resolve it. They give me a number to call back but it cuts off... Annoying and most likely spam or a scam.
