It was a pitch to vote yes on Question 7 in the upcoming Maryland election to okay more gambling casinos in Maryland. I already got an equally obnoxious robocall from 800-670-0810 pitching the opposite view on that Question. A pox on both their houses. I can't believe these people are stupid enough to antagonize so many citizens with their irritating phone campaigns.

Agree w/SteveK.  A pox on political calls.  Do Not Call List is a joke as the "Powers That Be" in Congress exempted political calls - not that the List works anyway. I've been on the list for years and still get calls.

this number has called me at least 8 times in the past 3 hours! I never answer. they don't leave a message. good to know it's about Q7. they don't want to know what I think about it - nothing but a scam and a LIE to MD tax payers. "Money for the schools." What a crock. that's the line always used, isn't it?

I am doing important job searching  and company research and do not have time to answer or tear myself away from my computer to look at my caller ID for my UNLISTED NUMBER only to find out that it is someone other than an perspective employer calling for an interview!. Stop calling ME! Let me vote my choice, my way. Called my cell phone, I hung up before the recording could start.

Called, I answered to dead silence.  Called the other day and asked for my husband.  When I told them he was at work they hung up.  I tried to call back and it just rings and rings.  So SICK of these idiots calling my home and wasting my time.  I am also extremely pissed off that the DO NOT CALL list does NOTHING!  People still call over and over again and no matter how many times I report them, nothing is done about it.  Disgusting!

You can keep calling my house and I will keep ignoring your call. Jokes on you. My ringer is turned off and machine is on silence. I check the machine when I want to and guess what caller ID tells me I don't want to talk to you. Foiled again!

I have never lived in the state of MD  why do they keep calling me.

Received a call on my home phone landline at 6:01 pm ET on 10/24/2012 from caller id = UNKNOWN NAME at phone number 410-741-3446.  After I answered the phone, the caller kept the line open for at least 60 seconds.  No one spoke, made any noise, or announced their presence as to who they were and why they were calling my home phone number.  I calmly began asking the creepy dead silence on the other end of the line questions such as "Are you okay?"  "Are you safe?"  "Are you injured?" "Do you need me to call an ambulance?" "Do you need me to call the police?" Right after I asked that final question, the call was abruptly terminated.  Probably NOT just a mere coincidence that the call was terminated at that particular moment.

We have received repeated phone calls from this number with nothing on the other end!!!  Total silence.  Maybe preferred to another robo-call which does spout a message.  Want this election season to be over.

I have gotten repeated calls from this number, if you answer there is no one there, and if you don't they don't leave a message. So someone's Question 7 robocall isn't even working, just annoying everyone? I have gotten so many calls, live, recorded and even mail about both sides of Question 7. Someone is putting a lot of money into this on both sides. Only got one call about any other question. Be glad when this is over and I can go back to being ignored by the politicians,

Calls my house several times a day.  Finally I picked up the phone to tell them to take a flying you know what and no one was on the other end.  I can't wait to get an actual person on the other end

Every time I've answered this number I get.....SILENCE. Nothing. No person. No recording. Nothing. Thanks to all above, I won't even bother to answer.

Received a call from this # about 10 minutes ago.  I answered and nothing....  Realized they were able to somehow leave a message on our voicemail.  It is a robo-call to vote for Question 7.  I really do not understand WHY political things are exempt from the do not call registry.

Hi Kathie, political things are exempt because politicians pass that law, lol. At least it's only every couple of years, I guess that's something.

Got 4 calls in the last hour. Each time dead silence.
Once my husband and I both picked different phones in the house, and spent a few minutes asking each other "where are you calling from" until we realized we were both at home, and that neither of us placed this call.
If this is related to a political campaign, what can they accomplish with silence?
