Even though I'm on the do not call registry, these jerks have called my number numerous times. They tell me it takes 30 days to get on "THEIR" do not call list. I work nights and the nature of my job forces me to answer my phone 24/7. So I've been awakened by these people a half dozen times now. IMHO this should be illegal and they should be prosecuted for harassment. Of course there is no way I know of to do this.

Nuisance calls bordering on harrasment! Telemarketer with bs. Ignoring them doesn't stop the calls nor asking them not to call. Too bad you can't get their home phone number and call them repeatedly in the early hours of the morning. Or better yet "put a boot in their ass".

Number calls over and over again from 8am-9pm.  Phone rings 1-2 times and noone is there.  I've tried several times to answer and it hangs up and I get a dial tone.  They will call every 5-8 minutes all day long!  The number states it's COMCAST on the caller ID.  I called the number back and a recording states it's Centurion Marketing.  I leave messages for them to quit calling and it never worked.  Called Comcast they said it is not one of their numbers and will add me to their no not call list.  Today same thing all day long!  Along with an unavailable # doing the same exact thing ( I think it's the same number).  Called again and if you push enough buttons you'll get an actual person who was told twice for them to quit calling. She states it must be there automated system and she has no idea why we were called asked for supervisor she says she's the only one there.  I filed complaint today with FCC but I don't think the form asked for enough detailed info.  I hope that stops it!

Follow up.

Got Comcast on the phone. They acknowledge that the company is legit, but that their prices are a scam. Comcast does not charge that much money for phone service.

Secondly, make sure to ask the guy which 3rd party he represents, and demand that he put THAT company... not Comcast... but Empereon Marketing on the do not call list.

Then go to the FCC site and make a complaint. Follow the instructions
Then wait, and after 30 days, let them call you. Each call they make to your phone number is $500 you get.

Make sure to document the time of the call, the caller ID, the number they called you on, etc. Follow the FCC instructions to the letter.

Same thing here today.  Calls and leaves no message

Have received several calls from this number in the last two days.  No one on the line when I answer.  Have no idea who the heck they are but would like to get a stop put to these types of calls.  We are on the do not call Federal list But that doesn't seem to stop idiots like this from calling.

Call came in and I ignored it.  They left no message.  I called the number back and a machine answered it as "Centurion Marketing".  According to the message, they do marketing campaigns for newspaper and cable companies.

I have only gotton called twice.  I didn't answer either of them, it only rings a few times and never leaves a message.

This number called me and someone was on the other end.  Didn't realize it was a scam and I stupidly "signed up" for a Comcast Triple Play package. Comcast has no record of the installation date, that their telemarketing department had called me, or that my plan changed.  I am afraid now, can't remember if I gave my Credit Card number or not, but they definitely have my address and phone number (obviously) now.  I am not happy and I fully expect some shady character to come to my door posing as Comcast.  I will answer with a bat and a call to the cops.  Curious part is that Comcast did say someone accessed my account on the date in question, but left no notes.  Something seems to be amiss for sure.

Called twice yesterday without leaving a message. They called back today so I answered to see who they are/what they want and they tried offering me Comcast digital phone service. I told them I don't have a LAN based home phone, that I use MagicJack for my home phone, and that pretty much ended the call right there.

Same here; last night @0620 PM EST - was away at the time - glad to see it was no one I needed to talk to.

Calls at least 4 times a day.  Most times does not leave a message.  When it does it's a voice saying "hello hello" loudly and then says.  "This is comcast" and hangs up.  This has been going on DAILY for at least 3 weeks.

My phone number is listed in the national do not call list.
