Called the number. This is Feature Films for Families. These guys are persistant...aren't they?

it was probably their automated system just calling to see if someone was home and it would not transfer u to a live person.  it does that to see when the best time of day to call and reach a live person.  if u want it to stop when u answer the phone and no one answeres back just press the pound key repeatedly for a few seconds really fast then hang up.  this freaks out the auto dialer and it will stop calling after a couple of tries.  it really works.  all kinds of companies use this kind of system to find out when is the best time of day to reach a live person.

Persistant and how....David called me three times last week, each time with me telling him I was unable to talk and why he couldn't tell this on his own is beyond me....bronchitis and hardly and volume to my voice....anyway after hanging up the first time on him after telling him I couldn't talk and him insisting it would only take a few minutes he called a couple days later wanting to know if I'd been offended at any time by them, as I still had no voice I scratched out yes, when I say I cannot talk and you are insistant that I do and again he proceeds to continue saying it would only be a few minutes, again I hang up, a couple days later he calls yet again, I still had no voice and I told him to remove me from thier calling list.  I then looked up Feature Films for Families and sent them an email also requesting them not to contact me again because of David's insistance and tactics.  They have good films for children with values but I will not order anything from them again.

The funniest thing is.....this is automated...it sounds like a real live guy but it isn't once you decide to purchase they transfer you to a real live person.  Next time they call keep talking to this guy and ask how the weather is how is mom and dog are etc.  you'll laugh when you see what he does

they are persistant but its okay...i gave them permission to call back. but if i remember correctly, they asked if they could call back on a specific date, not just any time they found my number in the database.
oh, well. they are harmless. good organization.

Yeah, they're persistant, but rather lacking in effective telephone ettiquette. After a dozen calls asking for the lady of the house without identifying themselves or their purpose and hearing the click as I hang up, one would think they'd learn.

410, This area code is from Baltimore MD.  They called my mother in law the other night and asked for my exhusbands new wife.  They asked for the ex's phone number when my mother in law said they had the wrong number but she did not give it to them.  I read some of the other entries and just wondering are they tring to sell these movies or what?

I have to say they do make quality family films (as I've purchased a few movies from them for my daughter.)  With that said, I don't answer calls from this number anymore because they call me almost everyday. I can't buy a movie everyday or I won't be able to pay my mortgage.

My wife and I puchased several of their movies the first time they called. They were nice then. The next time they were very rude and I hung up. CID shows up dave and brenda. I will not purchase anything else from them.....................

This is one of many calls we have received from Feature Films if all these numbers reported to be connected to this company on this site are correct. They do sell good movies for children and families, but I am most disappointed in their current marketing techniques. All of these different numbers, names and area codes are deceptive. I have asked them many times to stop calling us as our children are older teenagers now. After reading these,I'll try the 800 number.

I also received calls today from this number.They hung up and did not leave a message.This must be a new way of phone sales.This is not the only number that uses the same system.Feature Film for Families has been around for many years.I purchased all their videos back in 1990.Great films.

Well, they called around 8:20 tonight and they asked for my mother. My family never answers calls from numbers we don't know...but I do. I don't like them calling. Well, they will never get my mom at this hour anyways. So I ask if he is a telemarketer and he's like ya and I said take us off your list and the jerk said no and hung up! Seriously, how rude can these people get?

I have also received calls from them at 208-388-3328 with a caller id of "FFFF" and from 201-257-4536 with a caller id of "Customer Svc Fe". All calls have gone to voice mail and they never leave a message.

I've also received a number of calls from 410-774-8230 with a caller id of "Gambrills Md" like this one that said they were "American Diabetes". From the closeness of the phone numbers it's probably the same boiler room operation.
