Recorded message conducting a "survey". I am on the Do Not Call list, so I hung up as soon as the recording started. The same place called last night too.

Surveys are generally exempt from the Do Not Call list. Recorded ones are almost certainly political in nature this close to the midterm elections.

Received two calls from this number this evening.  When the last came through just a few minutes ago, I returned the call.  A man answered who genuinely seemed surprised.  Said he'd been receiving calls from this number for 3 months and blocked the number.  Just this evening in the last couple of hours...(according to him) he'd received several calls like mine from other people.  I advised him to call the Attorney General's office and to also contact his provider.  I'm in Oklahoma.  I'll be contacting my provider to make sure I'm not charged for long-distance since it's not my same area code.  Note - when I hit redial - "1" wasn't required to complete the call.  Scam and someone must have "jacked" his number.

I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.I would think this is a political call, but they didn't leave a message so I can't say for sure.

Political call at 8:51 pm with no option to tell them to stop calling and waking up the kids.  They will not get my vote the bums.  They are wasting their time and money and not making friends with their constituents.

TureCaller stated it was "Vote America".

Legit?  Who knows? Who cares.

This number called our business today at 0932 hours.  Caller ID said, "Maryland" so I was automatically suspicious.  I ignored it.  They disconnected just before the recorder would have picked up on the call.  Other sites also have complaints against this number and the story changes as to what they called about.  So, this is NOT an exempt call, not a legitimate survey.   It's clearly scam artists who keeps changing their story to whatever they think best fits the situation to try to dupe people.

Just received a call from this number. The name that goes with the number is FEDTAX RELIEF.

I said hello! And they hung up. Call came in 3/4/2016, at 4:44pm.

NEVER push a button or call a number or anything else. Any interaction confirms you are a "live" number and they'll never leave you alone. They'll most likely sell your information to the thousands of other jerks just like themselves. See this article (applies to any telemarketing call, not just credit cards):

Just got a call from this number, when I picked up it was completely silent (no call center noises). When met with silence like this, I know it's a robocall or that a person will soon come on and start their pitch - and no matter what it is, I am NOT interested. BLOCKED.
