I didn't answer, so the woman left a message, saying the IRS has an arrest warrent out on me, and that I better call the number above ( which is in Severna Park,  MD, according to my ID window on the phone).   She has called yesterday and today, and I bet it will be everyday for several weeks like the LAST fake IRS guy that called for several weeks.  He finally got tired and gave up!  I'm seriously thinking of getting rid of the landline phone, so this nonsense will be DONE with!!

Just got the same call and message...i never pick up any number i do not know....scam...

Just remember if it is the IRS they come to your door they never call...

I recieved 3 calls from 410-793-7681 back to back and will contact my local police for them to trace the number

received identical message from this number. When called this number it was a greeting from Mark Brown.

LOL....just called them back and got the same schpeal.  When he Mark Brown told me I was being recorded, so not to lie, I told him good cuz his lies were now recorded.  He wanted to know why I thought he was lying and I told him it is all over the internet what a scam he is running and he told me to F-off and hung up on me.  What a terrible way for a federal agent to talk!

Same message - he said he was with the IRS - I told him to mail me the info and I hung up.  He tried to make it sound real by giving me a case number.

7581 I redialed the number & a guy answered & repeated the same message & I said "for what" & he hung up!

Mark Brown 410-793-7581 (Maryland).  A recorded message told me that there was an arrest warrant out for me and to call the number (above).  The number is the voice mail of Mark Brown.  I don't know what scam these people are running but there is no warrant out for me or anyone in our house.

Just received two back-to-back recorded calls from this number in Severna Park, MD. The message informed me that an arrest warrant had been served against me for fraudulent tax activity and warned me that I had better call them back or face trouble that would come down on me. No government office would phrase a message that way, nor do I have any such problems with my taxes.

Received a call from this #, when I called back and asked what company it was the guy on the other in said  f*** you b and hung up the phone...don't think the IRS would would give up so easily.

We've getting the same "IRS" scam call from 410-793-7581 for about a month now. Today, we received over 6 calls. The idiot,Mark Brown, should know that IRS never contacts via phone calls, but always via the mail. I never pick up.

Recevied a message on my home phone IRS Investigation Dept, there was an arrest warranty for tax fraud and to call 410-793-7581.  I called the number from my work phone Mark Brown answered saying IRS investigation dept. when i asked for his ID number he went crazy and started calling me horrible names and got sexual. I hung up the phone and he called back 3 times using the same language.  I called the local police and made a report they will now be calling him and ask he not call my work number again and if he doesnt then a formal report will be fined for harrasment..

Same recorded message received to my land line twice a day for almost a week now. Recorded message states to return call to 410-793-7581 to avoid arrest

I logged this number with the FCC complaint line as a scam today

I had a phone message left on 3/18/15 with the IRS arrest story.  I decided to return the call from a different number so they would not have caller ID to identify me.  The person that answered had a foreign accent possibly middle eastern.  I did not understand what he said when he answered.  I told him I had received a message about a warrant from the Irs.  I gave him my phone and he identified me by my last name.  We are listed and our name is on our phone message.  He then started speaking real fast telling me there was a warrant out for me if I don't pay this IRS bill I will be arrested. I said "Who is this?" He responded, IRS.  I said no it isn't!  The IRS does not call and leave threatening voice messages.  At which he said, [***]! and hung up.
