GAWD!  Sooooooooo sick of these bu**sh*t phone calls!!  I'm getting 3 to 5 per day.  Get a real job people, and stop harassing and annoying decent people!  It's gotten to the point, at least with me, where I don't answer the phone at all.  Fortunately, I've got an answering machine which "broadcasts" any messages, so I can listen and respond to a "real"call right away.  Also, a separate caller I.D. box, so I can tell even before the message whether or not the call is B.S.  I highly recommend both to everyone.  Hope this was helpful.

It has gotten to the point for me, that i have turned the ringer on my phone off now.  If i dont reconize the phone number, regardless who is calling,  I let my VM take the call and if no VM is left, then the call wasn't important to begin with.  Even if a message is left, is no guarantee on my part that I will call the number back either.

Anybody got an idea what scam this is?  Sounds like the old "lower your electric bill" B.S.  Does anyone know how to deny the laws of physics, i.e. save money by adding ANOTHER bill to your monthly expenses?  Sounds like the scam from the 1940's and 1950's - "The More You Spend, The More You Save" ???   Jesus!  Does anyone "fall" for this B.S.?

I just got a call from this number. On CID it showed Baltimore MD. When u answered it was an Indian man on the line. He said how are you doing today? I replied, fine. I asked him why are you calling? He said they were offering some type of quality business. I don't remember exactly what "business" he stated. I simply hung up on him. I'm going to forward my land line calls to me cell phone and from there I can automatically block scam callers

Previous post said electricity sales, my guy was selling Duct Cleaning, previously I had a call from the extension 1716 with some sort of credit card scam.  I think these are probably spoofed calls originating in Pakistan or India.  They are professional scammers, one month it's credit cards, the next it's duct cleaning, then it's microsoft telling you your computer is screwing up their servers.  Get a call blocker.  If the area code is not local to you, block it.

Received call from male with accent, possibly India/Pakistan. Used the name of Jack and mentioned something about air conditioning service. Advised that I was too busy, don't ever call here, again, and hung up on him. Call from the Baltimore area.

Having a Caller ID box is helpful to a degree. With technology now-a-days, any number that appears on your caller ID can be spoofed. A scammer can be calling you from Alaska lets say and on your CID will appear a local call from your area. Just my opinion, if you dont reconize the phone number, dont answer it and if no VM is left, then the call wasnt important to begin with. A legit company will leave a message.

Got rid L/L yes ago , No justification paying $00.00 month just to get calls from Telemarketing companies that the Phone Company sold , for profit and up your bill because of excessive calls.

I'm getting these calls on my cell phone, so I set up special ringtones for everyone in my contact list. If it's not in my list, I don't pick up the phone. If it's important, they'll leave a message. If I get more than one call per #, I add it to my block list. Getting a lot less calls now. Hope this helps.
