Suspicious number stating that I am to phone back, or be penalized by a Magistrate Court, immediately.  Phoned twice.  Have not returned call.

We also got a call from this number saying we had a second offense and to call this number to keep from being prosecuted.

...do not call them back, and block their number.  If you had committed a criminal act, the police would be visiting you.  You would not hear about any "offences" from some scammy caller.

They called 5 or 6 times today.  Left a message one time.  Something scammy about the US Treasury, blah, blah, blah.  The guy has an Indian accent.  Said his name was Daniel Craig (?) or something similar.  Annoying!!!

Same thing as Mary!  Indian accent and everything.

Called at 9 AM.  Dead air, no one there.

Just received a call - no message

Caller told me that if I do not replay I was in trouble with the government

Pre-recorded call from 410-914-8646 indicating that this was the 2nd time they've tried to reach us, and failure to return the call would result in some sort of penalty.  The person who recorded the message didn't sound as though English was his first language.  Source of the call was identified by Verizon as Churchville, MD.  Blocked the number.

I just received two messages this morning stating the same as others, U.S. Treasury, 2nd offense, and felt it was also a scam.

I have 3 calls on my answering machine left between 9 and 10:30 am. Same accent,  same recorded message.

I recieved his call 3 times and called him back from my cell.  I asked him to stop calling and he said he was going to have the police come arrest me.... I'll post if i get arrested...

You can put kettle on. You're not going anywhere. A good laugh & a nice sticky bun would go good with our tea.

Same as others.  He left 3 messages.  Something about enforcement... US Treasury... magistrate  federal criminal offense.  I hate that they can upset so many people.  Should be arrested themselves.

I am in law enforcement. They are praying on people, trying to scam. I hope no one falls for their calls. These types of calls pop up when people have federal refunds thinking we would jump at the opportunity to pay someone. The simplest thing to do is ignore them.

One neighbor got the message THIRTY times in one day.   Consider yourself lucky if you only got called 1-2x.

Same thing as others...called every hour today said if I ignore I will be appearing in front of federal magistrate.. Upset my wife thinking something was wrong in our home..f..k these idiots

Same message as everyone else.  Appears to be pre-recorded.  No one there if you pick up or call back.  OR you get a busy signal.  Threatens I'll be going before a magistrate if I don't let THEM help me. HAHA! No Thanks!

My husband just called me in a rage. A man with a thick Inidan accent called our house 6 times. Left the same message that it "was the second attempt to collect a debt and that failure to respond would result in legal action". My husband called back and reached an man with an Idian accent. He cursed him out and they hung up without saying a word.
Please do not fall for this!!!!!
