got a call from 410-944-8787 answered the phone, they hung up. I returned the call and the recording stated that the number I was calling was not in service.

I had the same experience as irritated. If I call the number back, it says not in service.

Called my phone at noon 8/8/11 .  No message.

2 times a day for last 2 days     called back number was not in service, how can they make calls if not in service

Got a call today at 12:10 PM - Picked up phone but no one answered

I got one at noon today..Tues 8/9/2011...answered and nobody there......grrrrrrrr

With this Country in turmoil, can't anybody stop these a**holes from bothering people?  Home loan, yeah right. I'm gonna jump right on it.

can't understand why telephone company allows such messages "phone not in service"..that has to be a verizon issue

They called almost everyday.  Today I was foolishly and bored enough to ask them if they can refinance for me and ask for the quote, the caller transfers to "his manager", "his manager" transfers to "his senior manager", this guy told me there were too many lines open he would call me back.  Then you all know, he never.  I called back and "the number you dialed is not in service".  I realized it must be a scam.  Search internet and came here.  Can they do any harm to me?  I did give them the address of the property and my name.  No credit card info though.

Called at 4:50pm, 08/10/11...I answered on the 3rd Ring and heard a busy Signal.   Gwynn Oaks Md on the caller ID.

This clown(s) has been calling for the last four days and will hang up when the phone is answered.  A message "phone is not in service" when the number is called back. Now that I know the number, I will not answer.  The person(s) needs to get a life and stop harassing folks.

Received a call from this number on 8/12/11. No response after several request for the party to respond. As I attempted to call the number the service on the other end stated this number was disconnected.

This is the second call from this phone number. I was not at home either time. When I called the number back, the recording states that the number is not in service. How can this be?

I did an Internet search and found that some people have stated that this is a home loan solicitation call.

I also reported this to the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY as I am registered.

Shut the [***] down!

I used the verizon call block to take care of this. I just added my cell to the do no call list...as well as my home and father's cell

Please put me on a do not call list.  I don't want to talk to you ever.
