Keeps calling, no one there when I answer

Same here. It tried me twice. The first time it called, I only gave it a few seconds to respond and I hung up. I didn't answer the second time. Maybe it is a computer trying to find valid telephone numbers?

omg i jus downloaded phone tray.com and my [hone hasn't rung all morning... ooooo what a relief! to finally gain control; over all of these [***]  its been going on at least two years! from 6am to 11 pm and its free and you get ti choose what msg you want thrm to hear!  oooooh hahaha! jokes on them finally!

Now I see what the folks in the forum mean. Although I use it - boy! - does the above posting look like a shill for the paid version of PhoneTray. A little over the top.

I just got a call from the number and they eventually talked.  They asked me by name (creepy) whether it was correct that I do not have an electric supplier. I informed them I did have a supplier so they asked who it was.  I refused to answer after explaining that I live in an apartment building and have no control over who our electric supplier was.  Finally i told them i can't talk because i'm in the library (which is completely true) and hung up.  Very weird.

Same situation. An alternate electric supplier with a boring script that tries to make a hard sale. After saying I'm not interested they keep pushing...and pushing...and pushing...and when I asked to be put on the no call list they hung up on me. What an ethical company. When they call I always listen--that way I can waste their time and energy explaining it though I know I'll not be using it anyway!

I've rec'd several calls from this number.  The most notable was yesterday when there were three women on the phone noting that NONE of us had called anybody and that for all three of us the answer was the same... "I didn't call YOU! You called ME"..

Just got a call from that number.  He spoke so fast I asked him to repeat what he said.  He did (I think).  I said "I can't understand a word that you're saying."  He said "then you don't speak English" and hung up.  What an [***].

got a call from this number today and no one said a word. over the past week an unknown number called me every day with the same response but today it showed me the number. its starting to really piss me off. i would like to get their number and call them repeatedly everyday.

I received a call from this number, showed on caller id, in the afternoon. I do not answer phone calls from numbers I don't know so I can't say who it was my apologies. The ring of the call did not last as long as a normal call and the caller did not leave a message. Thus far I've only received this call, one call, from this number.
