Got a call from this place saying loan mediation. Says personal info. was turned over to them and needs prompt attention. Turns out a SCAM!!!! The company the "represent" does not even have any info on me. Said i got a loan from this company that was not paid. I checked my bank statement and called said company, both show nothing for or from me. When i called this number back and informed them i have proof of no dealings and that i was going to report the fraud, she got very rude and told me not to call again.

I got these calls and got smart and used my reject list on my cell phone. Their number, 412-342-8630 is now on my reject list. It goes busy automatically when they call. They are scammers and I am no longer bothered by the scammers. They can stick it where the sun doesn't shine.

They keep calling me, as well. Total scam.  Block them if they're calling your cell.  If you have a land line, check with your service provider.  ATT will let you block 30 numbers each month for about $5.

Looks like a standard debt scammer.
Other sites have reported  LMI is contacting consumers at their home and work telephone numbers regarding purportedly delinquent payday loans. In some instances, the consumer had obtained a payday loan previously, and then subsequently started receiving collections calls.

The representatives for LMI make numerous and repeated harassing telephone calls to the consumer, threatening legal action unless the consumer pays the requested fees. The LMI representatives may also contact consumers’ relatives or other references. The representatives from LMI may also identify themselves as law enforcement officers or attorneys from the "Legal Department."

No idea where they are located.

Fraudulent or Zombie Debt Collectors—Things to Know

If you have received a call stating:

    1. You have defrauded a financial institution
    2. You owe an unpaid payday loan
    3. You have a warrant due to an unpaid loan
    5. You will receive a court summons
    6.  Authorities are coming to arrest you
    7.  Anything similar to above,
     a.   Do not give them any information or verify any information for them
     b.   Tell them you know they are a scam operating illegally and that you are   filing a complaint with the  appropriate authorities
    * File a complaint with the FBI on their Internet Crime webpage     http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx
    * File a complaint with the Attorney General for the state you live in
The more information and complaints there are, the better the chance of getting these criminals to stop (or at least reduce the frequency).    [abstracted from another site]
They continue to bother  you, tell them you are going to the police to make a complaint of extortion.
