Got the call on my answer machine. Message is just a male voice "Hello?....Hello?...Hello?" Ontario, Canada

no one there, called from land line, # is out of service. called *611 to report to telus.

Do you think if they got enough telephone calls and emails - they would clamp down on whoever has this phone # thru them???

i have been getting calls like this for a few weeks now, and seems every time it is while i am trying to sleep (i work graveyards, so of course i sleep at day) if at least someone would say something as opposed to having the nothing and then hang up...

Same number, different area code.  I've answered none, and don't intend to.  What a tool!

Called today at 4:15 PM Eastern Time.  I didn't answer.  When I tried to call it back the machine said "you have reached a number that has been disconnected or is no longer in service"!

Got that phone call too... once or twice a day. I don't answer since I have the caller ID, and I don't intend to either.
But did anyone notice the (4) 123456789 ???? I just tought it was weird

Well I called my phone company (Cogeco) to know what I could do. They said that there is no way for them to block only this number, but if I find it harassing, I can aswer next time they call, wait for them to hung up, dial *57, which will retrace the number, and then I can call the police...

I might do it honestly next time they call when I'm at home.

Answered call...asked for wife, said she was busy. They said they were from sears and wanted to call back. I asked them to remove our number from caller list and they hung up.Called number back and got the "number out of sertvice.

call from 1-412-345-6789 from Pennsylvania today at 7:00 p.m.
also got another one a few weeks ago from 1-112-345-6789, and that showed as New York.  Called Aliant to report and they advised there was nothing that they could do to block this # from my phone.  They just said not to answer if they called back~~~~~Prince Edward Island  Canada
