Heavy accent guy called me at work this morning by the name of David Jackson claiming that a financial legal matter has been filed against me.  i refused to talk to him because i keep getting these calls and they ARE scammers.

I keep getting calls from man with heavy accent coming up as an unkown number but when they leave voicemail they give the number 412 360 8435 saying a criminal matter with my ss num has been reported and they are filing charges and if I don't call back they will send someone to my mailing address or my job. The one time I tried calling back a machine came on. I am thinking this "officer brown" is some sort of scammer.

i got a call from this number (412 360-8435) today from the same heavy accent person, "officer james white".  first it was officer mark brown saying a criminal matter with my ss numberr has been reported and they are filing charges , will send someone to my mailing address or job if i don't respond. when i did talk to this james white and asked him to send me the information his speaking of, he asked me was he my servant, did i pay him and i was being rude.... to call him back when i could taken down the information, i refused so he said be prepared to be picked up and lose my job and he hung up.  i've been told that these people are scammers.

A person has been calling a friend of mine claiming he is going to send an officer for me.  He is trying to avoid this matter.  He claims his name is Officer John Smith at 412-360-8435. When you call it back you get answering machine.

I was told not to believe this person because if it was a criminal matter ;they would have filed papers and you would have been served to report to court. You would also would know what you had done.

I gotten several calls from this guy with a heavy accent claiming to be officer Gary Smith. He has called several times looking for Ashley Cole about a legal matter about her S.S. number. He has called several times even though I have told him that I do not know who that is. I think I am going to call the police for harrassment because the calls just won't stop. The number he called from was (412)360-8435.

i got a call today from this guy too with a heavy accent claiming to be officer James White from the law investigation dept about a legal matter against me. he gave me a case number . i've been told to tell them to keep talking that the call is being recorded, but that just doesn't seem to stop them. the number he left to call back was 412-360-8435.  after that call, 2 minutes later another guy called  claiming to be first officer Gary Smith saying the same thing.. .i hung up... then he called back 2 minutes later... this time he was attorney Gary Smith.  these folks are SCAMMERS!!!!  but we can't get the calls stopped... contacted our local phone company and police... they said when the calls come in once they've hung up do *57 to put a trace on the call.

I got a call Officer Gary Smith saying that I have a legal concequences and if I don't pay $532. This will settle the legal case outside the court. And if it is in the court I have to pay 4,000... I got involved and I told him if this is a legal matter this should be documented... Send the Document to my home and we will talk after that... The Guy left......... A SCAMMERS!

i am a government employee and this person with a non english accent claims he is officer david white and the last four of my ssn, he or they claim my ssn has been used in a criminal matter, these people move or change numbers as this is not the first call i have received reference this.  i wish i had nothing better todo an call scamming people.

This same guy that everyone is talking about is still out there. Just thought I'd let everyone know.
It's very troubling. If anyone knows how to stop this guy, it would be greatly appreciated.

I got  a call on 6/9/10 from 412-360 8435,a guy with heavy accent claiming that I had did a on line loan transaction for $832.00 and even gave me two on my friends names and my bank account number in which I am closing today.He telling me that a criminal matter has been filed on me and I better take care on this now or it will be to later,so I asked him who was this from he gave me some way out the way name and said that I better take care of this now.Call right back on my cell from another number 916-395-0000,all of this is a Scammer .

I received a call from a guy with a heavy accent and he said his name was Officer Kevin Lawrence and that I would be in trouble if I didn't call my brother to let him know that a criminal matter had been filed against him for an online loan he allegedly took out.  He threatened me by saying if I didn't let my brother know to call him back, we would both be in trouble.  I called the number back and got a machine.  He called twice as well.  My brother googled it and told me to do the same.  Seems to be a a very bad scam!!!!

I got a call from Officer James White. He said that there is a legal complaint against me and that I owe $1256. I asked him which loan is this in reference to. He said that he can't me that. I am not giving him a penny. Somehow I do not think that he is a real officer.

Received a call also from this Officer James White - These are scammers - They hadn't called in a couple of months -now they are starting again - on my work number which is a government telephone
I do not call them back - these people try scare tactics to call them back and get your money.  They got me twice last year - though both time it was a lawyers office - same thing very heavy accent and I recognized the voice - I changed my home phone so they don't call me at home but keep calling me
at work  scammers - don't answer or call them back - just ignore them!!

GOT A CALL FROM AN OFFICE GARY SMITH SAME ISSUES EVERYONE IS HAVING THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS. DO NOT GIVE THEM AN INFORMATION AS A MATTER OF FACT THIS IS A PITTSBURGH, PA AREA CODE SO THEY MOVE AROUND THE COUNTRY SO THEY CAN NOT BE FOUND AND USE PREPAID CELL PHONES THERE IS NO SUCH GOVERNMENT AGENCY CALL DEPARTMENT OF LAW AND ENFORCEMENT. IF YOU DID NOT PAY BACK A PAYDAY LOAN YOU WILL HEAR FROM THE COMPANY NOT A SCAM COLLECTION AGENCY. THEY GET YOUR INFO FROM YOU APPLYING ONLINE TO A NUMBER OF SITES. BE VERY CAREFUL IF YOU APPLY FOR ONE. BUT AS FAR AS THIS THEY WILL STOP BOTHERING YOU AFTER A WHILE. JUST BE FIRM WITH THEM AND START CALLING THEM IN THE MIDDLE OF NIGHT AND BUGGING THEM. THEY ARE BAD PEOPLE AND WILL GET THEIR DUE JUSTICE. MOVE TO ARIZONA OR NEBRASKA WHERE YOU BELONG WITH THE OTHER ILLEGALS OFFICER SMITH.

I received similar message from Jerry smith saying if I don't pay they will take me to court I think it is all a scam but I am afraid that it will hurt my credit.  any advice?

yup this all guys are really s**t they had given me a call and asking to pay $4600 by my debit card so he told me that i will be at a safer side but then i asked him where this payment is going and he told me that this payment goes to eloan universe and then i asked him why it is going to this company and he told that this is payment department then i google it and found that this company is fake and fraud so dont pay any money to eloanuniverse in any situation they are trying to scam us and that guy was having typical indian accent !!!!!!

CAN ANYONE STOP THIS SCAMMERS ????????

I received a call at my job from "Officer James White" stating he was from the Cybercrime unit investigating 3 instances of fraud with my social security number (he stated the last 4 digits).  he told me ot my lawyer to call 408-641-7599 to resolve this time sensitive matter quickly.
This happened to me a few years ago and they were harraring one of my family members.  Who can I report this to as I know they are trying to get my information and now they have called my job.
