No clue! Just got one a few minutes ago. Do you get calls from weird Numbers often?

called, but didn't leave a message.  irritating.  how do I block?

These people will not stop callin I have asked to be taken off the call list too many times to count. They change from where they call from drives me crazy

I didn't answer. They call every day and don't leave a message.

They say they are "Feature Films for Families" and owe me a credit...ask for me by name but I have never ordered anything from them. They always try to sound sincere like "Please don't hang up" lol ....I hang up every time.

The company trying to sell 'family' oriented DVD movies called me over a year ago, and I agreed to buy one. Since that time they have continued to call my home phone relentlessly, from different area codes, different numbers, wanting to speak to me by a recorded voice asking "is DAVID there?"  When I had no caller ID I would usually answer. Being from a generated calling device, usually if no one is actually on the other end, I would hang up, as I have worked with computer generated calling.
Now, since I have caller ID, the ID usually will say FFFF, the number above, or several other IDs from computer generated area codes. So regardless of what is the name, number, area code I let it go to voice mail. There's usually no message left, or in one or two cases, a disclaimer is read by an automated recording about federal regulations.
I know some of us are unaware of what the company's reputation is, and so was I until a week ago. I'm sure if one Googles "Family Films" or such they will see many reports from people like me who have also been continually harassed by endless calling. Whatever you do DON'T buy into their underhanded and illegal way of doing business.

Yes, Karin...the number is randomly chosen by a telemarketing abuser wanting to sell whatever they will get you to believe is worth having. I've also been bugged by them, as you will see in the incident I just posted.

The company goes by different names, area codes, prefixes and abuse the system relentlessly. Whoever runs the operation must need to know what justice is, when so many reports are made against them. They are a renegade organization in America's fair trade system. They need to be eliminated from our free enterprise system's fair trade way of doing business.

Good luck folks. I really did enjoy their movies, but my daughter is in her thirties now. I've asked to be removed from their call list, but I still get multiple calls each day. They will never go away.

Well, a certified, return receipt stop calling me letter, followed up with a TCPA lawsuit for $500 per call (possible treble damages) would certainly make them stop, along with reporting them to the FTC and your State Attorney General.
