Spam call about con ed bill electric

Don't have Con Ed but they hung up when I asked them to stop calling. Not even a thank you or sorry.

A call with no one on the line. Why did they bother?

I actually followed the prompt to get to a person.  When I asked the name of the company that had called me she promptly hung up.  For what it's worth, I always report a DO NOT CALL violation each and every time........

Another day, another spammer.

They've been particularly aggressive the past couple of weeks. I was down to maybe a call a week, now I've been getting a couple a day.

There needs to be a "Spam" Call Type

Why can't these calls be made illegal?

Theft is illegal but it still happens. If laws were real strict, I am sure this will stop. For example, the fear of hands being removed as a punishment will stop a scammer from harassing, stalking and ripping people off.

These calls are so annoying. They call all day long, even after I've made clear that I'm not interested in switching electric companies. I'm also a bit on edge with wonder as to how they got my phone number, since I have an unlisted, private number. I filed a complaint with Do Not Call, since my number is registered with them.

There needs to be stricter laws against telemarketing harassment.

I've  been getting numerous calls from this number..  I don't recognize the number so I don't answer.  They never leave a message.  When I am not home and they call, they still don't leave a message.
Sick and tired of their calls.  Very Annoying. So be it for the DO NOT CALL LIST, WHAT GOOD IS IT?????

No message was left but when I called the number the only choice was to press 1 to be taken off of the call list.

I'm on the do not call list -- a lot of good that does.

said they were duquesne light and wanted to lower my rate.  They asked for my electric bill with accont number, name, etc.  When i said they should have all of that since they called me, they hung up immediatley.  Obvious scam.

When "telemarketers" hang up on you when you ask simple questions such as: "Who are you?" and "What is your phone number?" you should be suspicious.

When they launch into profanity you can be absolutely sure you're talking to criminals.

Either way you've dodged a bullet and should be grateful that you managed not to be ripped off.

Calls and leaves no message.  Don't answer the phone if I don't know the number.

This company stated that they were Duquesne Light CO. When I told them not to call they hung up...

Have been getting several calls a day from 412-532-0175, leave no message. Finally answered the last one, it is a "Robocall" saying "You can lower your Duquesne Light bill by switching, press 0 to speak to an (?)"
I hung up at that point.

Receiving calls from this number maybe once or twice a week. Never anyone where when I answer and if I don't, no message. Called back and received prompt to be placed on "their" Do Not Call list.

Just received a call from this phone #..........I don't answer ANY calls I don't recognize the number, but they left no message & I have no intention of calling them back to see what they wanted!  Why do we even have a DO NOT CALL list?  It does not even work!  Drives you crazy!

incessant phone call daily from a company saying my peco bill is eligible to switch service providers.  I'm on the do not call registry and this number keeps calling.  There's no option to have them opt-out of future calls.  It's a pre-recorded message and it only asks you to hit '1' if you are interested.

I do not understand why they keep calling my private number.
