I received a call from "Dan", PNC.  I was late on a business loan payment for a few days and he demanded payment immediately.  I told him to wait a few days until I get paid for outstanding invoices.  He informed me he knew I had the money in the bank.  He not only told me the balance of my business checking account, he told me the balance of my joint personal account.  I asked how he knew these amounts as he was in the "loan" department.  He informed me he was a PNC employee and he had access to all my financial information.  I am looking for a new bank.

They have called me 3 times in two hours today about a loan.  The payment was due 3/14 and it is only 3/18.  WTF? I am going to take my business somewhere it is appreciated and understood.

My feelings exactly.  I received another call today from a female.  REALLY RUDE.  I told her that both last month's and this month's payments were made, but she insisted on knowing the reason I was late and wanted to verify my address.  'ARE YOU STILL THERE??"  As if I took off in the middle of the night. I have been a customer for 25 years.  Doesn't that count for anything?  Then she told me she was marking my file as being "Uncooperative" as I refused to answer her questions.  What did she eat for breakfast?  Rusty nails?  I am looking for a new / better bank.

Please look for another bank if you ever happen to be in your life need a loan or any types of financial assistance. Not only that this Bank just kind of money sucker machine.  They want to draw as money they can from your pocket. I received 1000 calls in a day from this number (You know one of those automated caller machine), but every time I answered, immediately been disconnected. You know what is so funny, it was just for not to have my auto insurance information in their file. Even though, I have provided them my insurance information four times past six months. They have all kinds of backdoor setup with car dealerships, and business organization and that is way I was end of up with PNC bank. In my past I had several auto loans and never had as such un-professional caller in my life. CEO of this bank even doesn’t have life although he claims 20 millions of bonuses last year. We all have some kind of share of that bonus.  Those people don't have life and that is why they want to make our life miserable as well. They are made with stone. So if you have a 2nd choice, please never get a loan from this Bank again. Otherwise they will call you even 9 o'clock in the evening.

Completely agree.  Avoid PNC like the banking plague that they are.  I can understand a creditor attempting to contact a borrower, but these jerks start calling relentlessly the morning after the due date. Our payment was due on the 24th, and on the few occasions that I forgot or cash flow dictated I had to make it a few days late, by 8am on the 25th the phone would begins to ring practically every hour.  Plus their clcinfo.com website doesn't work half the time, so they're a pain in the neck even when you are trying to make a payment on time.  Then when you call because you're trying to make a payment close to the due date but the website won't let you on, they want to charge you a fee to make a payment by phone instead!  After having spoken to a few of their rude, obnoxious representatives before, I have no intention of answering.  We're fortunate in that we still have a lot of equity in our home, so we're taking out a home equity loan which will help us pay it off faster at a lower interest rate. Since we're going to be closing on that this week and paying off the balance, I held off making the payment figuring it would all be settled soon.  Naturally, the harrassment started immediately.  I'm actually looking forward to answering the call tonight...explaining that the pay-off is in process and when the PNC creep starts in with their typical rude and insulting comments, having the fun of telling them to go pound sand.

The same thing happen to me.  Over the last week, they have been calling like 8-10 times a day.  at first, I was not answering the call due to the number was not familiar.  Finally, I called them back and on the 412-768-0662 number and they said that they were TLC/PNC bank.  The funny thing is...my loan payment is not LATE and it is directly taken from my account.  They are so stupid and I will never use that bank for anything.  After I read all of the other comments from different people.  I decided to go and close my accounts with them.  They tried to give me some issues...but they really have no stand point to do so.  NEVER answer this number!!!!!!!!

Just got a call from this number and I was not familiar with it so I googled it online, and found this site. I have a car loan with PNC bank that I have always paid on time every month. I have never paid one late payment until this month. The payment is one day late, and I get a call from these [***]. ONE DAY LATE ARE YOU SERIOUS. It was due on the 16th, and I planned to pay on the 19th, and i'm getting calls already. Luckily I do not have any other business with them other than a car loan. I would not support a company who puts their customers through this [***] daily.

Bought a car from Liberty Ford in Randallstown, MD. on 11/9/2010 - was financed through PNC - never had any business with this bank before. Was led to believe that First payment would not be until 1/9/2010 - then, received payment booklet in mail with WRONG NAME on it - Thomas Kerry?

I was not about to make any payment under a wrong name, so I took it to the Finance guy at Liberty - he called someone at PNC who was supposed to CORRECT the account and send me a New payment booklet. That was on Tuesday, the 14th - that same afternoon I received a call from a guy at PNC telling me my payment was LATE and my Finance Charges would be Increased! Told him my story and he said when I got my SSA payment on Wednesday the 22nd, I should rush to the closest branch and make my payment. I did not RECORD what that phone number was.

Now, for the past 3 days, my cell phone gets a call from 412-768-0662 - every time I answer, a recording tells me to HOLD ON for an important non-Sales message - my cell costs me 10 Cents/minute so I HANG UP! Have also received 3 or more same messages on my Home phone. Had No Idea what it was about until just now, when I GOOGLED the number!

Now that I know what a Lousy Company it is, will re-Finance elsewhere ASAP! Thanks to all above for info! Tom.

P.S. Still have Not received new booklet!

Watch out!  They will deduct the payment from your checking account without warning!  They did it to me.  It cost me a fortune in bounced check fees (they charge a return fee, overlimit fee, daily fee, weekly fee, we thought it might bounce fee (seriously!)).

They did not get my original business, i was with national city, and pnc bought national city so thats how i ended up with these fuk tards.  So to make my life easier i opened a checking account to have my boat loan auto paid.  well like alot of people, i lost my job so when they tried to auto deduct the payment and the funds were not in the checking account, they charged me 7 dollars per day for the loan being late and unpaid, then 7 dollars per day in insufficient funds in the checking account.  i then stopped the auto pay so the worst i would suffer would be a 35 dollar late fee.  well they continued to try to deduct the payment from my checking account because they say they have the right to do that under the loan agreement/contract.  i said to the bank manager, thats impossible because the loan agreement was with national city not with you and i never signed anything with you and i have had the boat loan for almost 7 years and i opened this checking account 11 months ago.
Stepping on their own tongue, i got the bank manager to look up that i stopped the auto pay whcih in fact was true and they did.  From there they saw that they were to blame for the 7 dollar fees for the loan, and the 7 dollar fees for the account.  They refunded all of the 7 dollar fees for both loan and account, I paid one month of the boat, have another payment to make in a few days when my unemployment comes in and ill be all caught up.  just a few things for you all to know about pnc and their operations

1, regardless if they have the right or not, they WILL deduct the funds they are owed without warning!  beware
    2. They will deduct late fees, back charges, and any other processing fees or anything else they want without warning, again beware.
    3. They will start a repossession proceedings 4 days after your 2 month late and will stop the proceedings if you make your payments in person at a branch.  After the 3rd month to the day they will send out the repo man and the repo men will be as violent, abrupt and wise ass mouthy and mean as possible.
    4. Just warnings to help you all out.  I know when they call they are big [***] but if you let the problem go, they are just going to get worse so take care of the problem when you can and avoid any unpleasant issues later.  they have no heart its just business and they hear every excuse under the sun and they are just doing their jobs although i think they would have better results being nicer but hey thats just me.
lastly, save the phone number in your cell phone as pnc bank and that way you know who it is and if you want to answer it or if you cant while working etc.  then you dont have to guess as to what you are in for when you do answer the phone.

pnc did work with me on my issue and solved it without me having to pay a single fee.  so there are a few nice people but you have to seek them out and the playing nice card worked for me this time.
    best of luck to everyone

PNC bank, as stated they start calling you if you go a day over the "due date" on your loan regardless of if there is a span of time between the due date and when a late fee is assessed. I have an auto loan from PNC for a business I started with a friend and like most small businesses we don't always have enough money in the bank to pay bills perfectly on time (I should note we have never once paid after the late fee is assessed.)

These people are snakes. I received 25 calls today in about 45 minutes, and when I did not answer the phone they somehow managed to track down my father's cell phone (who has absolutely no attachment to the loan in question) and called him three times...the first two he politely informed them that they have the wrong number and to please stop calling. When they called a third time he asked how they got the number and they lied, saying it was put on the loan application and when he requested to speak with a supervisor they flatly told him it was not a managerial issue and that he needed to pay them.

If you receive a call from this number do not answer. The people on the other end of the phone only have one goal - to arrange a payment via the telephone. They have told me there is no grace period on their loans, and just continue to repeat the same line if you ask why the late fee is not assessed for 2 weeks after the due date. If you answer they will not let up and you will more than likely have to hang up on them.

just another mindless collection agency working hand in hand with a"community"bank that has no concept of costomer loyalty or consumer caring. PNC would do well to remember what "community" really means. But than again, it is really just another automated bank. I closed all my accounts and recommend you due the same.

It's PNC. They call even the day the payment is due if you haven't made a payment. My loan is past due but I am unemployed. Guess who I worked for? PNC. They fired me and still expect me to have the money to make my payments! I make payments, just not as much as they want. Hey, I do what I can. I have to eat too!

OK - I just received my EIGHTH call from these people today!!! They called SIX times yesterday. They are asking for an employee who works for our company. I have repeatedly told EACH person that has called that he is on vacation and to STOP calling!!!

I asked the ladt if she was calling from PNC. She said, I can't tell you that, I can only speak with so & so. I told her she needs to tell me where she is calling from or to make damn sure no one from he comany calls back again!!! She was acting that I was inconveniencing her!

If this is PNC - I am really dissapointed. This is complete and total harrasment - nothing less. They can not call employees demanding payment while they are at work!!
