Repeated calls, sometimes daily - no message, hangs up if I answer

Repeated calls, no voice message left. Usually preceded or followed by another caller from a "Jesse Bird" with a 401 area code so I suspect that they are related.

I kept getting calls from these people, non stop! Finally I just called the number back and it rang, automated voice said "you have been contacted due to a prior business engagement, there is not further action required at this point"....it was followed by a very long pause. I thought it had disconnected but I continued to wait. If you are patient enough to wait through the silence you will get an automated option to remove your phone number from the do not call list.

Just received a call.Same thing;leaves no message.

This number belongs to Hunter Warfield, a debt collection agency.  They call me repeatedly from different states and phone numbers.  I don't even owe a debt; person that had my phone number previously does.  I tell them to never call me again, but they do from a different state and phone number.  It seems there is no hope of stopping calls from these people even if you don't owe them money.  If you do owe them money, good luck.  Change your identity and leave the country is my best advice.
