Alternative electricity supplier scam/salesman.

Rang but didn't leave a message. Showed up at Residential Tit (which kind of intrigued me). Probably calling while we're in the middle of a blizzard, hoping we're desperate for power.

Just called but did not answer when i did.  Probably some new scam.

Called during the blizzard.  Left an empty voice mail.  Caller ID said "CLIENT DEPT".

Saw the Caller ID as Residential Tit as well. Weird.

Called day after blizzard. Only # on caller ID. Went to voicemall.

Listed as "residential TIT"  thought that was kind of odd, so I called it back, it's a spoofed number, so this is 100% scam what ever it is.

Caller ID read 413-214-7679 "CLIENT DEPT." at noon. Did not pick up. No voice mail.

Caller ID said "CLIENT DEPT".  Left no message.

Called the number back as soon as the phone stopped ringing, and got a message saying "you have reached a number that has been disconnected".  Tried it again, with the same results.  Obviously a spoofed phone number by someone running some kind of get a lower electric rate scam.

I just received a call from this number. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

Why don't you do like I do, get a cheap solar panels from Harbor Freight Tools store ,get a power supplies with a step down to a step up transformer,get some conv.pw suppliers, watts conv.units,some  12 volts battery chargers and parts to get them together. IF YOU GOT SNOW ON YOUR ROOF AND NOT GETTING ANY POWER FOR YOUR HOUSE,THROW ALOT OF ROOFMELT PUCKS ON TOP!

If  you having  a hard time throwing these roof melt pucks  at a two families house roof,use a remote control flying drone to drop these pucks on the roof! WOW,I just create a million JOBS for the UNEMPLOYED TECHNICIANS!

Just received another call from this entity (413-214-7679 displayed as RESIDENTIAL TIT) at 1545 today. Left message indicating that due to state government deregulation we were entitled to a discount on our electric bill and we should press 5 to find out which discount we qualify for. Received three previous calls,  all coming during a major storm of some sort. Call back at this number gets a message the number has been disconnected.

Just a single ring and they hung-up.  Blocked number.

Called at 5:50pm on 2/11/15.  Caller ID showed as RESIDENTIAL TIT.  Didn't leave a message.

Got the same call , but hung up on them......

This is a KNOWN SCAM.

They prey on SENIORS.    This time of year they say they remove ICE from ROOFs.
But they are BOGUS and they CHEAT seniors out of money.

Police in Bedford, Massachusetts, want the public to know that there is a group of scammers preying on the elderly. The scammers are promising to clean off roofs, but are demanding thousands in return.
Many New Englander’s are worried about their roofs right now. It may be tempting to do business if confronted with a door-to-door offer, especially with all the snow, but police urge people to use caution.

WAYLAND (CBS) — Since Massachusetts started getting buried under historic levels of snow last month, homeowners have heard one instruction from public safety officials over and over again: Clear your roof.
But police warn that scammers are targeting residents who are trying to keep their roofs from collapsing.
“Recently, residents in other towns have been reporting ‘Roof Snow Removal Scams,’ in which residents are approached and asked if they want snow removed from their roofs,” Wayland police said on Facebook. “They are quoted a price and then after the work is completed, they are given a bill for a much higher price.”
