I do not pick up my phone anymore. So I have no idea what these people want. If it was someone actually trying to reach us, they would leave a message (They didn't).
 I Googled the phone # and no reports against this number found. That's all gonna change right now! Let me be the first... :-)
  Anyone else have any information? PLEASE POST here. I'm on this site almost daily checking phone #s of the annoying calls I get every day. As soon as I see others have reported a number as a problem, I block them on my phone.
  When you guys & gals report numbers that spam, robot call, try to sucker you into giving out your private info so they can take your hard earned money from you, so they can sit on their [***] all day long calling people, till they find a sucker that gives them the information they need to steal their identity, it helps the rest of us out who have the same problem.
  Hmmmmm was this call: You have just won a cruise? Warning the FBI reports a gazillion home break ins all the time? This is your second and final notice to lower your credit card rates (l wish it was my final notice, but no, they keep on calling, over and over and over again)... well thanks for reading and listening and letting me vent.

I don't know who they are either, but I have received repeated calls from this number. No message. The last call just came in a few minutes ago, but it hung up after 3 rings. Dead giveaway that it is a robocall. I will keep checking sites until someone finds out which scammer is on the other end.

This number just called me at 7:45pm. I answered an there is no one on the line! Soooooo irritating!

Same as the others. Call about 4 pm on a Sunday. No one on the other end.Unknown Name on CID.

Is number calls our home phone. Never anyone there. Never leaves a message.....annoying!

Got a call from this number 4:20pm no message left. Caller id V81913195500585.

rec'd call from this # @ 6 pm tonight. No message left.

Still calling. September 2. Called once a week last month. How long before it stops. No answering machine and I don't pick up the phone.

Woman asked for me by name. As soon as I identified myself, she instantly launched into something about breast cancer research.  I hung up.

Just received a call from this # too.  It is 8:50 pm- my family doesn't even call this late.  I live in eastern ma.  I havn't answered it yet and no message left.  I will pick up and post here if I find out who it is.... thanks for you other posters!

Two calls from this number today. They keep asking for my husband. First time I asked if I could take a message second I asked if they were telesales and they just hung up. What is the point in being unlisted?

I'm getting calls from this one a lot - and they call later in the evening, even AFTER dinner time.  Just called at 7:00pm. I don't pick up, and they don't leave msgs.  I'm sick of this too.  There seems to be noone capable of stopping these calls.  I keep a spreadsheet now, sorted by area code and I refer to it - I am up to over 45 phone numbers of callers that start early 8am thru 9pm every day 7 days a week now. Thanks Verizon.  Thanks Do not Call lists, none of you will do anything to help. I'm totally stressed out beyond belief with this sh*t.

Of course not.  the Telcos are making money on these calls.
That is why
1) They CHARGE you to block them.
2) They LIMIT the amount of number blocks you can enter.
We are paying them to be part of the problem.

THEN we have people marketing spoofing programs, and places like Magic Jack advertising that spoofing is a FEATURE.

The scum in DC is probably getting a piece of the action as well, which is why enforcement is a joke.

I have an earlier post; this number has just called again at 8:20pm Sunday night. This has GOT to stop. It is harassment way beyond just business hours now. What can we do? They get my answering machine on my landline and just hang up .. but seeing my landline is ONLY for immediately family for elder care, it scares me to get a call on that line this late on a Sunday!

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

Rec'd call at nearly 9:00 last night. I never answer these calls and this has not been the first time. DNC does not work any more

Four calls from this number in the last couple of weeks. Thanks to "Ward" for post about asking for by name and purporting to be collecting for breast cancer research. These people have called me many times before but from different numbers. I never pick up for unknown numbers but they did get me once by asking for me by name. I learned my lesson. I'm using one of my precious cable phone blocks on them so I don't hear from them ever again...until they change the spoofed number on the caller ID.
