What kind of SOB calls on a SUNDAY NIGHT at 6:00PM - and VALENTINES' DAY to boot?  We let it go to ans. machine and of course got the 'dead air/hum' of a robocall.  A search of this number brought up "CHARTER CABLE SALES".  FLAGRANT VIOLATION of the DNC List LAW.  SCUMBAGS.  COWARDS who will not even fully ID themselves with their NAME on Caller ID.  I've already reported it.

One, Charter doesn't call unless you call them first. Two, if they're violating the DNC (which, having Charter myself, I know they don't do), leads me to believe someone is spoofing the caller ID in an attempt to get you to answer

The same sob that calls after 8pm on a Sunday night, apparently!  I actually answered, as my parents recently moved to the Springfield area.  It was some sort of veterans charity, supposedly.  But I simply don't trust charities that cold-call me.  And if you are correct about the number belonging to "Charter Cable Sales" then they must have spoofed the number - not the action of a reputable charity.

Just called me at 8:59 Sunday night. I will never contribute anything to any organization that attempts to call me by phone.I believe in contributing to organizations of my own choice! THE OTHER NUMBER THEY TRIED LAST WEEK WAS 4133142250
