On top of that, their website was registered 1 month and 1 day ago.

Really? same thing different name for them JDS Research Inc., same phone number out of CA, hey they sent you a cashier's check for 2,800 they only sent me one for 2, 330 i feel ripped off Tiffany you got offered more money than i did, i never took it to a bank nor anything. letter out of CA, through bank in OK, written on a "cashier's check out of FL. was suspicious to me on the on site, signed by a real ink pen D. Brandon.

and from my prior post yes they are still using the same names they claim to want to take the research with listed above, date of my letter 8/13/2014.

I RECEIVED AN EMAIL,  ASKING ME TO DO RESEARCH FOR GTE RESEARCH.  THEY SENT ME A CHECK FOR $ 2,140.00 . IT COST THEM  $19.99 TO MAIL THE CHECK ; PRIORITY MAIL EXPRESS.  CHECK IS WRITTEN BY GTE FINANCIAL,  PO BOX 172599, TAMPA FL.  PAYABLE THROUGH - BOKF,NA- EUFAULA, OK.   FLM RESEARCH CO,  PHONE # 413-471-9361.  www.flmresearch.com,  which isn't  valid.   DATE 8/29/14.   I AM TO GET FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS BY EMAIL.  I WILL REPORT TO FTC.  CHECK SURE LOOKS REAL,

Me too - same details as you - check for $2140, but the letter says it is a check for $300 and funds for the evaluation you will be conducting for us. The bank is Deutsche Bank and Trust Company Deleware. Return address is Bank of America Fair Fund, P.O Box 1837, Faribault, MN 55021-1885. Emails coming from L.Meyer@jdsresearchinc.com.

I looked up the address in my post, and that went to a website about the Bank of America Fair Fund Settlement, and that had a phone number. I called the number, and a customer service rep looked up the check number and determined that it didn't match their records -  the amount and the name were different. This is a fraudulent check.
