Receiving calls from YPOR (???). Don't know who they are. I did some research on the internet and found this http://www.youngprofessionalsofredding.com - a non-profit company. Is it them?
No, this is the yellow pages. I must have gotten 20 calls from them this week. If you anser, there is no one on the other end, if you call the number back there is no answer.
414-208-1035 is a burr under my saddle...a thorn in my side...a pain in my...please give me a silver bullet...a wooden stake...some holy water...anything. I'm about to unplug my phone and start sending smoke signals.
They called me and would hang up on 2/26/2007 10 am, 2/26 7pm, 2/27 10am, 2/27 7pm, 2/28 7pm, 3/1 12pm, 3/1 7pm, 3/2 11am, 3/3/2007 10 am. I called back, and get a "customer service" recording stating they would allegedly remove my number if I entered it and confirmed. No person answers.
This is a tele-marking company. Typically they will make random calls from a computurized call center, that is why no one is at the other end when you ansewer the call. The computer can tell if you answer the phone and you will be noted as a working number for future telemarking calls. The company is named VER-A-FAST and can be found on the internet(goggle). You can contact them to have your number removed at 800-327-8463. Would also suggest that you have your phone numbers place on the do not call list that is avialable on-line at Do Not Call Registry. If you continue to be called by unwanted parties contact your phone service provider and have the originating number "call blocked". Having the caller ID feature from your phone company allows you to do this rather easily. No need to be at the mercy of these annoying calls these days. Your local phone company should be able to assit you when you are beening harassed by these callers, call them and get them involved if the above steps don't work.
I just called the 800 number and spoke to Christine. Told her they better remove me and stop calling me. She actually was very nice and said she would take me off the list, but that the process can take up to 5 business days.
thanks for the help............now we know what kind of job all the illegal aliens are doing...Bush's do not call registry is just another one of his huge failures..
Re: 414-208-1035. I have gone through several of these steps, and others, and am still getting calls from this number. Though I so appreciate the insight and info on things we can do, I can't ignore the fact that we have to spend so much time and energy and money/resources to get something we did not consent to to stop. Have we no rights any more? Where is the moral fiber of such a company that chooses to bully and take over in such a way?
They just called me at 11:48 am (according to caller id) and the woman on the other end asked if i recieved my new yellowpages book and then asked if i would like to get the local newspaper for 2 weeks free and that it would stop automatically after that time with no obligation to buy said paper.
Received three calls in two days from YPOR with 414-208-1035. Henry's advice was very helpful. Let's see if it works now. I reregistered on DO NOT CALL list, called the 800 number Henry suggested for VERAFAST and left them a message not to call again or I would take legal action. My phone company cannot help because I do not get call screening in my area.
This number 414-208-1035 calls my home 3 times a day. You can register your number on www.donotcall.gov to remove your number from telemarketers list. I went on the website because I had already registered my number a while ago. If you have had your number registered for more than 31 days, you can file a complaint. I filed a complaint today.
Yep, I've been getting about two calls a day since 3/20. I've been on the do not call list for months now. I've filed about 5 complaints, but the system is a little cumbersome, so I'm not going to file the rest of the calls
