- Caller: says works for Microsoft
- MidNYteStorm replies to AdamThere are plenty more like it. Microsoft has issued warnings about these characters. The sad part is that some of these operations have people come here to make to calls sound legitimate.
- JP| 2 repliesI don't know you but I get calls from your number. Please don't call me anymore, as I will never answer the phone if I don't recognize the area code or your number. It's a waste of you time and mine. If you need to talk to me leave a message.

- Irriated2nd call today: first from 933-184-3741. Both computer scams trying to get you to buy into their Microsoft computer issues. Identify thief's ....trying to gain access to your computer by remote access permission. More failure of the phone companies to be able to have you block unwanted calls.. Out of Area scum..

- LarryJust received call from 414-332-8767 which showed Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Caller ID.
Man with very thick Indian accent claiming to be from Microsoft securities was calling to
help me "fix" my computer. Told me to go from Start on lower left and then to type "RUN."
When I asked him if he was calling me from India and how he got my number, he said
"No, that he was calling from New York City" and hung up on me.... - Anom414-332-8767 caller ID: Unknown Name. Phone calls from this number are unwelcomed and periodic. Obviously illegitimate because they fail to identify themselves and they fail to leave any credible message. Beware of these unknown name failures calling from 414-332-8767.
- Caller: Unknown Name
- Old Grouch replies to BettyThe call really didn't come from Milwaukee. The caller supplies a fake # & ID, so it could come from anywhere. Called Spoofing. Somehow, these jerks get disconnected numbers and use them. So you can't call them back. And they ignore the DNC list. It is the law, poorly enforced, almost impossible for calls coming from outside the country. If your phone can block incoming calls from a list, add it to the list. And hope the list has enough room for all the scum bags who chase you.
- PeterReceived call a little while ago. Hung up after 8 seconds. Unknown Name/414-332-8767.
- EricCID read two different numbers. One was out of Washington DC: 1-202-204-0484, the other was 1-414-332-8767. Obviously phone hacking (phreaking). Heavy east-indian acccent. Told me there was a problem with my computer. I let him go on for a bit, to see what he was trying to get me to do. He tried to get me to open a remote connection. When I told him I was a Microsoft Engineer, he immediately hung up. Do NOT follow their instructions. This is a well known scam.
- KimI got a call from 414-332-8767 and a man with an Indian accent tried to tell me he was from Microsoft and telling me my computer was in danger. I told him I had good virus protection and he started yelling at me telling me I didn't know what I was talking about and I told him he was rude and hung up... They called again today. I am going to look into a block.... They want to gain access to your computer...
- Caller: Said from Microsoft
- Joe T| 1 replyTHIS IS A SCAM...
They are calling from "PAKISTAN" to get your account info...
If you give it to them... BYE BYE money...
There is not anything that can be done to recover money removed from your account ONCE YOU GIVE THEM YOUR ACCOUNT #...
Have a good one...- Caller: PAKISTAN
- Joe T replies to Joe TThis SCAM has been going on for a long time...
When they use up a "spoofed" number, they just change it to a new one...
Spoofed numbers do not actually exist, they just show up on the caller ID.
Your bank numbers do exist. Don't EVER give them out over the phone without KNOWING who you just gave access to YOUR bank account.
