Uptomyears - 2 Oct 2007Caller ID says "US Government" but when I did a number search it was the main number for University Wisconsin Medical College. No message left. I have no connection to this facility. Smells like a scam

MCW employee - 17 Jun 2008I work at the Medical College of Wisconsin, and I am sure that someone just dialed you accidentally (there are about 11,000 employees here)...it's not a scam because this is also what shows up on my caller ID when I get a call from about any phone within the institution. The Medical College of Wisconsin, which was once a private institution, now receives some govt. funding. Perhaps this is the reason the caller ID says US government?
