Called my home, 3/10/2014. No message left. Am on no call list

Called my home phone and would not respond.  I called back and got a computer message stating to enter "1" to be removed from their list and it could take up to 48 hours to be removed.

Got the call from "Auto-Alert."  Male with thick East Indian accent asked if --------- was my name.  Big clue here so I immediately hung up.  He did not call back with an "Alert."   I did not call back either.  Internet indicates this number is listed at a down town Milwaukee location.  Possibly phoney location for number.

I keep getting a call on my phone 414-409-8541. I have been getting this almost daily and I am on the no call list. Very annoying. I don't answer numbers I don't recognize. They never leave a message. It always comes up missed call.

Why do we get all these calls, if we are on the no call list.
