The caller was very rude and hung up on me when he heard I was not interested in making a donation.  I doubt he will raise much money like that.

I just received a call from this number. Hung up on when I said hello.

Gotta love telemarketers huh?

I was sitting here looking at this site about a different number and I can't believe the phone rang and it was this number! I answered and I heard others talking in the background, but no response from this caller.  A few minutes later I was on another call when a second call came in from them.  I am able to see the number calling in while I'm talking to someone else. So by the time I was done with the call I was on, there was a voice mail.  The message was the same as the first call, lots of talking in the background for a while, but no real message.  What a waste of time - theirs and mine! pfft

Got the same call tonight about 5:33pm CST.  I let my machine get any numbers I don't recognize.  Moron didn't leave a message, but he sat there for about 20 seconds.  Heard other voices in the background, but nothing discernible.  Telemarketers ... white collar crime, far as I'm concerned.

THEY CALLED, MY ANSWERING MACHINE GOT THE CALL, THEY LEFT A BIT OF NOISE LIKE PEOPLE IN THE BACKGROUND NOISE, AND HUNG UP.  ISNT THAT SPECIAL.

I just got a call from someone saying they were calling on behalf of the Madison Firefighters Assoc.  He went on to say that there was going to be a softball game between the Firefighters and Packer Players.  He then asked if I was a "Packers Fan".  I did not respond...He then said "F**king Madison Fag" and hung up the phone.  I called the Wisconsin Professional Firefighter Association and lodged a complaint.  Their Madison office is 608-251-5832.  I left a message since they are not open on Fridays. I will post another update if I get any more info or a call back.  It's time to add Non-Profits and Political telemarketing to the No caller List!

These people call me every couple months.  I always ask them to remove me from their call list, they never do.  The last couple of callers have been down right rude and insulting.  My wife has given money to them once in the past, so now I am forever on their list.  The sad part is that I actually have friends that are volunteer firefighters, if I could donate money I would have very seriously considered giving it to them.  But with these types of calls, I will never donate, nor will I allow my wife to donate again.  I am going to call them tomorrow and complain along with sending letters of complaint.  I will also be filing a complaint with the Department of Argiculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (nocall.wisconsin.gov).

Repeated calls with no one there when we pick up.  Based on info on this site, we will block the number.

Every night for the last 4-5 nights we have been gettign a call from this number ... they either hang up when we answer or a male voise says hello and then hangs up. When we call back it is either busy or we hear the sound of a fax machine

After checking IRS Pub 78 and bbb.org, I found NO Record of this firm. So, my question is are they a fraud, or do they have a valid charitable purpose? Search was for Prof. Firefighters of Wisconsin. Also searched for Center Stage AT&T in Both above organizations. Nothing came even close.

I searched and found the Firefighters Union, and called them. They said that the calls were coming from "Firefighters of Wisconsin." I searched them and found this phone number: (608) 251-5832. I called and spoke with the office manager who said that they have hired a firm to help them fund-raise, since they cannot do it themselves. She appreciated my complaint, as they are paying people to make these calls and "did not know it was a problem." I also reported to her what I had read regarding people not being taken off the call list, and reminded her that in the future this will result in a $10,000 fine per call when people from the state's "no call" list are contacted. She asked to be contacted directly if anyone continues to have a problem. If you get one of the calls, please call their office in Madison, so that we can stop this nonsense.

this number calls every single nite and actually left swear words on my answering machine
this is like stalking or something--get a clue, obviously I am not answering for a reason

We've been getting calls from this number and it appears to be an automated system which disconnects if it does not get connected to a data link,i.e., if a person answers the phone. I have tried calling the number back and it appears to be a computer, possibly a fax system. These people have a loose cannon in their organization who apparently is getting some sense of satisfaction from annoying people who won't donate anyway.
