Got a call from Americollect, lady was extremely rude.  Didn't seem to understand the words, "I am unemployed and can not pay the amount in full."  No, I am NOT going to borrow money from friends or family.  Being unemployed means I can't pay family or friends back IF I was to borrow money from which I would never do.  Told her she's just going to have to wait her turn after I get a job.

I received a call from this number last night at 3:30am, woke my whole house up, but by the time I got to the phone there was no one there.  Isn't it against the law to call after 9pm?

Frauds. Many negative reviews from the BBB. Americollect. They tried collecting on a long since paid medical bill. Total scum. Refused to identify themselves.

Lady called asking for my husband on my cell phone.  I told her he was at work and asked what it was pertaining to.  She said she could only talk to him.  Then stated she needed additional information to the application that was sent to him.  I think she might have said the company was Americollect bu not sure cuz she mumbled it.  I told her that I receive all mail and we apply for everything together so not sure what she was referring to.  Told her good luck having my husband call her back.  She was very nasty and said have a nice day and hung up.   I blocked the number.

I have been receiving calls from this number every couple of days for weeks.  The message they leave states that "This call is from Convergent Outsourcing, a debt collector. Please return my call at 877-227-0063"  I have Zero debt that is in collections or past due so I do not know why they would be calling.

Left message on the answering machine. Sounded like she said America One trying to collect a debt. A number to return a call etc. We have no debt. I blocked them

I get a call every few days, I let it go to voice-mail because I'm usually at work. They never leave a msg, always 3-6 seconds of dead air, no idea who they are or what they want, but I can't answer my phone at work so I guess I'll never know!  Sure wish they would stop calling if they aren't going to leave a message.

Wanted my personal information to pay a debt but refuse to tell me what company and or business I owe this debt to. Well I will not just give my personal information to an unknown over the phone.. Enough said! Block!

Called multiple times (during class) usually between 9 and 11am. I answered about four times and stopped answering. They immediately asked for personal info before telling me who they were. Said I have a $300 bill from St. Mary's hospital. I've never been there in my life!

They call me EVERYDAY and when I answer they hang up!  If I don’t answer the voicemail is a couple seconds of dead air!! I’ve called these people back before, after requesting personal information I would NEVER give over the phone, find out I’m not even the person they’re looking for! I kindly asked them to remove me from their calling list...THEY STILL CALL!!!

Since they refuse to stop calling, why don't you block their number? Block the entire area code if you don't know anyone in it.

Remove this number immediately. It was obtained illegally and I will file charges.

So I’m sure I owe a debt somewhere but I have at&t call protect and it blocks this number from getting through because it acknowledges it as a spam call. Before I had the app I would answer the phone call and confirm that I’m me. Right away they’d ask for birthday and social before they’ll even tell me why they’re calling. They say they have all my personal information on file but when I tell them if they don’t want to tell me why they’re calling to remove me “we have multiple numbers on file for you” that’s how I know it’s not real because I’m the only person on my phone plan and idk why I’d write down another number? Person on the other end is always rude as hell. I’ll pay whatever debt I owe when I start getting mail for it. Simple as that.

Called my mother and told her she had a bill of 518$ and wouldn’t even tell her what the bill was for. Kept interrupting her when she would ask, and they would say “listen we need your social security number and additional information before we can tell you wht it’s for.” Blah blah. I called back and they continued to harass me thinking I was my mom.
