Got the same call. Caller ID says CLRA 414-921-1049

Why am I getting a call from Wisconsin? I don't rightly know. Not only do I not have any kin living there but, if I wanted some of that great Wisconsin cheese, I would have gone to the supermarket and bought some. Okay, this fellow left no message on my answering machine. Reckon the matter wasn't as important enough so as to have left one. Good day ...  :-)

Got the same call @ 9pm.  Answered the phone before I could read the ID.  Male voice, asked for my bf by first name only and hung up before I could ask if he wanted to leave a message.  It came up as  Mike N J (not like New Jersey, the N & J had a space).

I received a call today as well, asking for my husband by first name - no message.  Caller ID was also NJ Mike.

After receiving a phone call from "Mike N J" with that number listed, I called it back.  It seems to be the "Children's Leukemia Foundation" or some such.  Asking for money, no doubt.

My brother just called me and told me to look up the CLRA. Some African American sounding person asked to speak to his wife by name.  My brother asked, "Who is this because I am her husband?"  He jerkhole hung up the phone. This person(loose term)  is posing as a rep from the Children's Luekemia Foundation, no doubt looking for a credit card numbers or monies to be sent to him.  Look out for that [***] clown people and thanks for sounding off about him. Damn!!! I LOVE THE INTERNET!!!!!!!!!!

Constant pesky, non-message, PIB phone calls !

I have been getting the same Calls from "Mike NJ" is there a way to block this number if it is a scam?

We screen our calls for the most part.  Get tired of the sales pitches and such.

After about 6+ calls from 414-921-1049, a Mike N J, at all hours and not leaving any messages I finally blocked the number.

Have now received about 15 calls.  Fortunately the phone blocks the number so it only rings once to let us know it blocked the number, and the number and person comes up on the TV.
