I get calls coming from this number harassing me stating that it is Peter Josh from First Financial and tgey want to verify my information to process the loan and demanded that information be given to him. The caller has a very heavy Indian-like accent, is rude, and when notified that they have been reported they quickly hang up. These people have to stop! It is a scam and people deserve better than base full individuals trying to steal from good law-biding citizens.

YES! The real First Financial has a warning on their website concerning them. The guy tells you youve been approved for between 1-5000$. Dont be fooled.

Received a call stating I was approved for $1000 - $5000 I choose the amount I would like to borrow. I'm like what? Then he says yes you just have to verify your information and make an upfront payment. I hung up. It is definitely a scam!

Wanted to Loan 2,000.00 but had to pay 220.00 up front that I would get back.  Told him to take money out of loan said was not possible.  Said Loan company been in business 19 years.

I was just scammed!!!! They said 300.00 can get 3,000.00!!! They took my money and now I am broke! I am pressing charges!!!

I feel sooo bad.  I just read all of these reviews and my heart sank.  I recently lost my job due to an overwhelming daycare bill that I could not afford, so needless to say I was desperate.  I had applied for a loan online and when this woman and man called me from this number, I thought that they were referring to my application and they said I had been approved. As an insurance, they said that I would need to go to Walgreen's and purchase a Prepaid Vanilla Card and deposit $180.00 on it that would be refunded to me with my loan amount.  After the process, they told me that in two hours, the money would be ticketed to me through Western Union.  Two hours passed, I called them and the "manager"  stated that the FDIC had put a hold on my funds and I would need to pay them $329.00 in order for my funds to be released!  Also, there was nothing he could do about the money that I already sent them for the processing fee because it was on hold with the loan amount. I'm so upset....

When you called for your loan, what did they tell you? Were your funds held? There's gotta be something we can do!!! This just isn't right.  These people are still doing this!

I got a call from this number today telling me that I was approved for a loan between the amounts of $1,000 to $5,000. I selected $3,000.00 and they told me that I had to pay $270.00 up front. When I asked him if this was a scam he said no! I've never heard of you taking a loan out and having to pay $270.00 up front. Why does the FTC let these people steal of us hard working people??

these people won't stop calling me, when i answer i get a machine and a hangup.next time, i will blow a whistle in the phone

I have gotten many calls from this guy YES it is a total scam, Never put up money for a LOAN that isn't a practice by legal lenders !!!

This person called me "babe". And then just called again saying "Hey baby I want some." That is the last straw, I am done getting calls from them.

I received the same thing today from a heavy Indian accent man name matt which is werid then a lady named Eric thank god i googled it i didnt apply for anything tho i dont know how they got my name and number.im going to call them back...

I just hung up with this so called company, they keep asking for someone that used to have this number. I was told I was a liar and a Fing [***]. They have been flooding my house phone with calls starting as early as 6:45 am. What can I do?

They left a message on my voicemail saying they were with First Financial and my loan application I filled out was approved.  I did not fill out any loan application.  I am sure this is a scam.  The caller had a heavy accent from the middle east or India.

So these guys have moved from a medical scam to now a pay day loan scam. They have been contacting me repeatedly over the last 7 days. I have asked for a manager, repeatedly said the words "DO NOT CALL" and "File a FEDERAL COMPLAINT" and the somewhat better English speaking person said that he would have to call 10 time in a day to be able to file a complaint. So now that I am tired of this place I try to list the number on the "Do Not Call Registry" today as a complaint and they say the number is not listed. These guys have used the following numbers lately: 215-302-3635 (2 times),  415-275-0161 (2 times), unknown (once) - had a little fun with him on this one and called him out for calling blocked... Either way I'm guessing that they have ported these numbers to an VoIP gateway and sent them overseas to call centers that are not bound by US laws.

I almost got SCAMMED< good thing my wife asked a lot of questions to them...and she looked this number up, 415-275-0161 online....They called me and told me I was APPROVE for $2000 and they wanted $180 upfront...also this guy name 'Eric Jones APPROVAL MANAGER' said the $180 is REFUNDABLE....We both thought, NO WAY!...Yes they have my info....People DONT DO AN ONLINE PAYDAY LOAN>>>go directly to Payday Loan BUILDING...YOUR Personal Info GOES Everywhere...found that out thru my bank...Watch out for this NUMBER 415-275-0161 ext 181 Eric Jones!!!!!!
