This number called and said police were going to arrest me for non-payment of a payday loan.  they spoke with thick accent and would not give me any information.  This is a scam they want your bank account number.

Same man calling me from different numbers looking for someone else.  Explained to him he had the wrong number, continues to call starting he wants to give a loan and needs my account number.  He is fraud!!! Harassing everyday calling my phone 10-15 times a day.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

I got a call today from them today for my husband saying the sheriff is going to come out and arrest him for non payment on his pay day loan. We did take out a loan but had it reversed the next day. The lady even told me to shut up and listen. Her name was Michelle.

This guy with a heavy indian accent keeps calling my cell and work number saying that I'm going to be arrested unless I call him back as soon as possible. This is the second kind of call I've gotten this year just like this and it is absolutely annoying. How the heck did this guy get my personal extension at work anyway? This is ridiculous and something needs to be done about this fast. People like this are the ones that need to be locked away for calling people and harassing them over the phone.

She (Michelle) has called me many times leaving messages threatening me saying that I need to call her back TODAY otherwise I will be facing legal matters, This number is so annoying and I hate the calls. It had me scared to death, I dont have any payday loans, I applied for some a while back, but never ended up getting any.

These people called me saying that they had "paperwork" to email me & then in the same conversation said that they were going to have the SHERIFF come to my job with a warrant for my arrest and that they were going to arrest me right there. They then proceeded to say that this "debt" was for a payday loan which I have applied for many but never finished the paperwork so i never actually had a payday loan of any sort. That being said i told this guy that I felt he was full of [***] due to the fact that i never even had a payday loan he then hung up on me. I called back and told him I wanted to see this so called "paperwork" the guy then told me that because i denied the allegations he wasn’t going to speak to me and to stop wasting his time and hung up yet again. I called back and he hung up on me. Later on that day a person with the same voice, same number, and different name called me demanding i give him my attorney’s information. I gave him a piece of my mind then hung up. I am in the process of getting their information because there is a page on the FTC website where you can file these types of claims which is exactly what I plan to do. They are practicing illegally due to the fact that as this type of company you are supposed to introduce yourself as well as where you are calling from when calling a debtor also they have incorrect information because I have never even had a payday loan, even more so they can only tell you that they are going to arrest or serve you if they are actually going to do it that being said they are breaking all kinds of laws by what they are saying as well as how they are speaking to people. TAKE ACTION do not be bullied! File a complaint, send a cease and desist and keep record of all calls in order to help stop harassment by these scammers.

Someone named Cris Taylor called and left messages at work and on the answering machine at home. Couldn't understand him. Sounded like he was speaking with one of those voice disguise machine but he had an accent. Sounded threatening to me. When I tried to call back no one answered and a beep like an answering machine but no message is the only thing I heard. When he called my work he said it was a legal investigation.

I got told that I was defraud a cash advance payday loan place money by not having the funds available for payment.that my local police dept would be coming to arrest me.I told them I never received any money from that company and that this was a scam and they hung up.

I have received MANY calls from these people saying that I was going to be arrested but never would give me a reason why. I told them until I see paperwork that I wuld not believe anything they say. I never agrred that they had the correct social or anything! I finally told them that I was reporting them to the Authorities because they were just a scam and that I wasn't falling for it. They would hang up on me at that point. Today, they have called 3 times within an hours time and I called back and supposedly talked to an attorney named Michelle Brown, she asked if I had my attorney yet, I told her that I didn't need one. She hung up on me. I think it's funny but the ongoing calls are getting on my last nerve.

I outed the caller as a scammer and she told me shes 36 yo (i doubt this is true) and that she is calling from Pakistan. She told me she makes 50K from this scam.

The same thing happened to me today they called my work phone and reached my ext and the sad thing about it I just moved to another position on Monday which is a totally different ext from my last one. I want to call him back and give them a piece of my mind they call me again they better be ready.

They called me and had my ss#. They wouldn't tell me why but that I was going to be arrested for a payday loan debt that I never had. When my wife called back 25 times they wouldn't answer the phone. The first time she asked to speak to a supervisor and he said he was one so she asked if she would speak to a different one, he told her no and hung up and now won't answer her phone calls.

A guy with a very thick Indian accent called and left  a message stating I needed to call back ASAP, and to have my attorney to contact.  I called back and a lady answered saying she was with some legal company. When I told her I was returning the call, she asked for my phone number, I gave it to her and she said she had nothing for me and hung up in my face.

I just got a call from 415-295-5685 informing me that I there is an investigation and charges against me for a payday loan which I don't have. The man had a heavy indian accent and called 3 times in a row when I told him I work for a law firm he said "I will be held responsible and pay the consequences" and I said to him call me again and I will report you and have you arrested because this call is being traced and I hung up on him. This is such nonsense, these people are just total scammers and full of s**t and will do anything just to have a job and being a criminal is not the way to make an honest living the dumb [***]!

I received a call earlier while at work on my cell from a 4152955685 # and I didn't answer, about a hour later I received a call on my job phone and it was a man with a heavy indian accent asking me was my name T******* and TOLD me the last 4 of my social.  I could hardly understand him and he told me that I need to have my attorney call the same number before a certain time and I asked him what was this regarding and he told me that the attorney Kenneth Webster would disclose all that information when I called back.  I tried the number and it was disconnected.  Im glad I looked this up and found out the truth.

Have recieved 6 or 7 calls from this number.Try to call back will not answer.same as all messages i need to call them or my attorney to call them.This is of a legal matter do not ignore this call.

I received a call from this number on both my work and cell phone stating police were going to come get me for a payday loan as well. I am a single mom of 3 already struggling, and was mortified when they said they were going to come to my work to deliver papers from their attorney. I was a mess. They would not give me any information on the "loan" just kept saying good luck. My mom called advised them they were harrassing me, and an attorney would be in touch with them if they continued. They hung up on her, and would not answer any additional calls. It was a horrible feeling, and I was a mess.

These people actually took funds out of my checking account, I got the county Sheriff's department here to file a case for fraud, and my credit union took immediate action also, blocking any future possibility to my account from this company...   Somehow, they got ahold of my account, have my cell phone number also since they just called me yesterday and threatened me (I think they threatened me, since I couldn't really understand the person on the phone) that the investigation was on me.   Well, I will not call them back..  I don't want to talk with them...   My credit union reimbursed me the amount they took out....    watch out what you do on the internet....   they seem to be quick to pick up any information!!!!    The person said that their name was "James Meadow", but definitely sounded like they were from somewhere else!!!!   The online company payday loan was...   FASTLOAN4ME   www.fastloan4me.com   watch out for this one!!!!

I keep getting a call from this number at work, I did apply for a online loan, never received funds, however, I keep getting a call and messages that they want my attorney info because I have a warrant for my arrest!
