- IT Manager| 2 repliesReceived a call from this number, from someone working for a company called IT Brief - not really familiar with them, but they said they were just doing an update and sending out some whitepapers. For some reason I went ahead and answered their questions. Thankfully so far just the whitepapers in my email, hoping they keep their word about this being a one-time thing.

- Jackized replies to IT ManagerIT Manager here also and they call non-stop! I never answer.
- Herman| 1 replyThese people are very persistent and have used many different phone numbers in their marketing attempts. They never leave a message, so it can't be very important.
- Caller: A bother.

- Jack replies to HermanI just had the call from 415.299.6350 and they asked to talk to my marketing manager....I just hung up.
- BubbishCalled first time (went throught receptionist) and asked for Customer Service Mgr. She hung up on him, so he called back and it rolled to my phone. Did not even introduce himself-name or company name. I meant to put him on hold until he hung up, but accidentally (?) disconnected the call. LOL. Oh, well. Maybe he'll get the hint..not likely, though. Caller ID shows San Rafael, Ca.

- CindyI too received this call. We are all IT at this location. He asked for my name and I wouldn't give it to him. Then he asked to be transferred to anyone in IT. I told him I couldn't transfer his call unless he had an employee's name. He got very angry and said he'd call back later. Don't think so - I won't be answering your call. Also, I continue to receive emails from IT Brief. Submitted several times to be removed from their email list. Now I have their emails blocked. I got your number!

- 707 I.T. Mgr replies to IT ManagerI just got a call from this number as well. Didn't pick up, didn't leave a message. 5 minutes before this call had another one from (781) 530-1609. Also didn't leave a message.
- SteveI'm an IT Purchaser. Looking them up as I just missed a call from them - I'm also on their email list, sometimes it's useful info as far as tech products/services so I haven't unsubscribed.

- Bubbish"Nathaniel" from IT Brief called and wanted to speak to "IT manager". My standard response now is to say: "One moment", put on hold for several minutes, then disconnect if they are still holding.

- BeckyGot a call twice from this company today. No name given for the caller or company. They asked for my "financial officer." I told them to "remove me from their calling list." That usually does the trick 99% of the time. I used to work in a couple call centers. By law, when you say that, they have to stop calling you. The trick is to get out the phrase before they hang up.

- JRBeen getting this call every day for the past week. I don't answer.
- MichelleSo when you have requested that they do not call and to be removed from their calling list and they continue calling multiple times a day... what do you do then? Anyone know??
Today they asked for my CFO when I asked what it was in regards to she told me finance systems. I said, what about finance systems? She says yea finance systems. I then said, you have no idea what your talking about do you? Please take us off your calling list. Then she hung up. - JBI get calls at work from this number all the time. They called again yesterday and I asked them to take our number off their calling list. Didn't work, they called again today. Any ideas if this is a brick and mortar company so we can actually file a complaint against them? It's really ridiculous and annoying.
- small town newspaperCaller asked for a very generic name (not John Smith, but close). When told there was no such name on the employee roster, caller asked for the "business development manager," then a series of b.s. titles that we don't have. I transferred him to voicemail limbo. Not the first call we have received from what is clearly a boiler room operation trying to sell us something when they clearly have no idea what our business is. (Something that our name says very clearly.)

- AnnoyedThey called me (working temporary as the receptionist until she's back) and they asked to speak with the marketing director. I told them they were in a meeting (even though they weren't... I knew it was a sales call) and then we hung up. Almost immediately that person's manager calls back and asks to speak to the marketing director. I ask who is calling, they say they "can't give me information because its case sensitive." I tell them the manager is still in a meeting. They hung up.
Called me back this morning and I diverted them to our generic office voice mail 3 times.- Call type: Telemarketer
- small town newspaperSheesh! These folks are thick as a whale omelette. Two calls before 8:30 a.m. Same spiel, asking for a fictitious name and job title. The first time, straight to voice mail limbo. The second time the number appeared, let it ring. They are on our Do Not Answer list.

- TDSwanbeckSomehow these people got my name saying they were from Java Support and wanted to send me something. I don't answer my phone now. If someone needs something they can leave a message and I will call back.
- Caller: Java somebody
- KJ GatekeeperThey call, and ask for the IT manager. Any time someone doesn't have a specific name, I ask "Which one?" (in all honesty, I answer the phone for 6 different companies, its a fair question) They usually hang up, but today, she asked for "John"
We don't have a John. Our IT guys are Indian, and have VERY ethnic names, so her trick didn't work....not by a LONG shot.
I laughed and disconnected the line.- Call type: Telemarketer

They keep calling, let it ring 1 time and hang up. On 2/24/14, they called me 16 times from 10:13am to 4:39pm. - Galveston Independent School Districtrepeatedly calling all day everyday asking for employees who do not work for our company and wanting to be transferred to the IT dept. very inconvenient because we receive hundreds of important calls daily and to be disrupted by a telemarketer is not okay. when i called the number back to speak with a supervisor about the annoyance, the first option the automated calling system asked for was to press 9 to be removed from their calling list. we'll see how long it last....
