They left a message claiming to be an officer from the IRS. First, they're called agents, not officers. Second, the IRS wouldn't call. They would snail mail you notifications re tax related concerns. They would talk of audits first, not warrants and such.

they called and left a message...said he was from IRS and i was being investigated for a crime and owed money to the IRS...I also could not understand him because of his middle eastern accent..be on the lookout for this scam..came from #  415 323 3796

They called me also it's a scam. There number is still active cause I called back.

Indian accent they called said they were  officers and that I owed money to the IRS . They didn't have my name or anything, has to be  A scam !

Received call last night from 415-323-3796, said was officer Michael Brown and officer of IRS and needed to call right away about criminal investigation going on.  Sounded like Indian accent and that the message was put together by a computer, not a person talking.  I am not calling back since never mentioned my name and never received anything by mail from the IRS.  Caller ID showed as unknown number.  Also think they would id themselves as Internal Revenue Service and would have left a ticket number of some kind.

Its a new phone number for an old scam.  The IRS does not contact you by phone or email.  They use the US post office.

Continue to ignore them.

I've been getting calls for the past week from this number.  It's a definite scam, the IRS would never call. They always utilize the USPS. A male left a message saying he's an IRS officer. Very annoying calls!

Received message indicating I was being investigated for serious crimes.  Caller had a very heavy accent.  He did not provide his name or use my name which is very suspicious. I have been audited as well as have paid huge sums to the IRS and know they never call. This appears to be an old scam with a new number.

Left a message that there were serious charges against me from the IRS.  It's a scam.

I answer it today...he stated that he was officer brown calling about a federal investigation and then hung up.  Why can't the government get these people.  Nothing like committing a federal crime.

Indian accent on phone. Said I was being investigated by IRS.  415 323- 3796. Law suit. But I have not worked since 2008.  Fraud.

Got a call from this number, did not answer. Left a four second voicemail with white shuffling noise. Came here to check if it was legit or not. Doesn't appear to be.
